So I have buyers remorse with the Elitar pipe mod. It's very silly and big and heavy.

You're looking at it all wrong.
It's sophisticated and plus sized.

JF is right, according to Yahoo news, porcine is now considered sexy. It's called body positivity. You have a body positive pipe.

The shinyitis support group exempts the purchase of a pico from shinyitis purchases, as it is apparently too hard to resist. I love mine, the tank not so much. Even though I put EUC cells in it, I'm not thrilled with size and/or driptip. Mine's like sandpaper rough, I'm not a fan (I got the rainbow version). Pretty soon I'm gonna bust out another RTA and replace it (probably). Not today, we are going on a "family outing" at noon (2 more days, and I have not insulted my mother thoroughly yet! FTW) so I'll be busy-ish today.

I pray to the gods of nicotine that I do not stress purchase, I also feel intense remorse for yesterday's purchase, I knew it was a bad idea, and it was. I guess I could see if it's shipped yet? Nah, I will put that on the back burner as far as terrible purchases I have made, I have purchased way worse, WAAAAYYYY worse. LOL.

Out driving in the snow, doing errands.

Can I get an "atta boy" for driving past a vape shop, and it's one I've never been too.

Of course I am buying a video game. Nothing like a game on a snow day, wood fire, Zen Vapes Transcendence.

Life may be a ....., ah but she fickle & throws good moments now and then.

Good Job JFC. We cannot address shinyitis outside the vaping venue (oh God, this thread would be three years long, LOL) so congrats on your internal fortitude, (did you even think, "Oh I'll just take a quick look..." if not DOUBLE WIN) and ability to drive by a vape shop without entering the premises.

I used to be that way about liquor stores, but that led to very unpleasant results, so a video game substitution seems fairly harmless, to ME :)

ALTHOUGH, I do NOT understand them, despite watching the boy and the husband play them for years :lol:.

CONGRATS, you are the shinyitis support group speaker for the day: So if you feel so inclined, share your journey with vaping shinyitis. :D

Lol, I was a store manager for GameStop for years, my boys are geeks as am I. The game is as much for them as me. Shame they won't get to okay it til next weekend. Almost like I planned it...

The vape shop isn't in the best place, difficult to get in and out so the choice wasn't hard. Will be passing another after this stop. Could use some juice...

I have crossed over to the dark side. I have ordered a Pico Squeeze and a Wasp Nano.

I can easily justify it as a replacement for the setup that some ne'er do well absconded with in the wee hours of the morning.
Sorry to hear about your loss, a V1 Subtank on a pre-order Pico has been in daily use since I got them. Had to dremel out the nearly invisible juice holes on the RBA, but that made it one of my favorites and my EDC work mod.

Currently sucking on the Squeeze with the Wasp, great combo I think you'll be happy with. The size makes it extremely pocket friendly and downright stealthy. Didn't like the screws that came with the Wasp, shallow flat head grub screws that were a pain to tighten down. Replaced them with hex head grubs and also used a Goon center pin. That pin sticks out about a mm or two so it leaves a little juice in the bottom of the RDA. Another one of my favorites now.

Love the looks but will not order one until they move the buttons! I hate using bottom firing mods, it just hurts and feels awkward. Sorry CC you can't win me over to the Pico Junkie Club. I do recommend them regularly tho.
Oh, snap!

I just remembered--the Squeeze is a regulated bypass device with a 50 Watt ceiling. ergo, no buttons.

Since you've always wanted a Pico and a squonker (hush, yes you have), there's nothing standing in your way.

I ordered a Dimitri clone from 3fv. LOL, and even though I ordered batteries at a good price from IMR, the batteries came out costing more than the box.

Dimitri Style Silver Aluminum Alloy 18650 Mechanical Box Mod

I guess it's too late to talk me out of it. But please talk me out of ordering more mech mods. I honestly don't know why I like them. It started with an SOB single battery hybrid.

I have two nice regulated mods. This mech mod thing is just somehow appealing.

Sorry KT, no help from here. Best vape I've had was from a mech I borrowed for half a day. I'm just not detailed oriented to start using them.:( I'd have a shelf full if I was.

Ya - I hear you. I already took apart the SOB clone that I got last week and polished all the metal to metal connections. I'm glad I did!

The fire button is adjustable and actually can just unscrew all the way out. The problem is when the fire button unscrews all the way out, the spring pops out and the metal contact portion of the button can then fall in and complete the circuit.

If it had done that with a battery inside, it would have been "bad."

The clone maker COULD have remedied this with a one cent lock washer. But they didn't. And I didn't feel like going to Home Depot. So I actually made a lock washer from 22awg, and tightened that fire button down with pliers.

The lesson I learned is "take apart mech mods before you use them - ESPECIALLY clone mech mods!"

It's possible that the risk associated with mech mods may be what is attractive. But the best risk is known risk. I have spent the last couple weeks reviewing Mooch's battery chart, battery chargers, Ohm's Law, etc.

Tim Wiseman posted a VV Kensei review. Somebody talk me down quick. I don't even care for dual coil rtas, but I like it.
Imagine it in the pile of stuff you have to waste time trying to decide to pack or go to the dump when you move
