Ok I'll start my book on the underground style mech squonk.
Was pleasantly surprised by the weight, look and feel of the mod.
Those that have the capo, hold it with your thumb on the battery cap. That's is basically how it will be as it's only a little taller.
It seems to be real brass and the fitment of the bottle cover is tight to almost look seamless. Full disclosure it is tight so takes a little effort to pull the brass cover off and put back. Does have magnets but seems more friction fit.
The battery cover is partially covered by the raised center so not as easy to remove but for the look I'm ok with it.
Vapecell 20700 fits well without rattle.
Comes with a decent silicone bottle. Pulse and lost vape bottles do not fit.
However the standard sjmy bottles do.
Now I like and wanna love this mod but here is where my problems start.
510 squonk pin is adjustable which is a plus but it's one of the easy turn (cheap) pins. So when you back it out the rda can turn it back in as tightened.
Now this is not that big of a deal as like the old days I threw a 3x1 o ring on the threads to keep it from screwing down.
Solved.
Now this next part is the killer, mine could be a defect so may want to reserve judgement till someone else gets one.
There is no real 510, they drilled the brass and tapped it for the rda to screw in. There in lies the problem with mine. The tap was a little too big, it will grab but not well. Basically if you turn your rda in a couple turns it still wobbles. Tighten it all the way down and it seems to hold well enough. Just one of those that feels like if you tighten it a little more it will strip.
Now at this point I'm using the mod, it hits well and like the feel.
After a while maybe half a bottle i realize it's wet. Because the 510 doesn't fit right the juice is coming out between the rda and the mod.
Dammit.
So if someone else ordered one check your 510 threading well before batts and juice.
Now I guess I have to try to open a ticket with ft and cross my fingers.
Or try to find a 510 that will fit and fix it.
I've wasted more than the 20 bucks on other stuff so I'm tempted to try to fix it.
Long winded but I think that's it.
I bet the authentic is the .... but dayum I wouldn't take it out of the felt bag for that much lmao.
