I just remind her I'm not spending $20 a day on cigarettes and she quiets up. My wife doesn't really care as long as she gets what she wants and of course she does. Happ wife Happy life!
Wish that worked...
Lol.
What's hers is hers, and what's mine is also hers.
Lol.

I have a few feet of Kanthal somewhere around here. It's fun stuff to play with but it causes headaches on decks where you're trying to trap leads from the sides. Velocity style would be tough. It would work great on the Wasp, the Serpent Mini (don't have the SMM)... any deck that has the wire secured from the top.
Works awesome in the drop, nudge and wasp so far. Icon, goon etc will do well also.
Gotta at least give it a try, my .3 by .8 came from ft so throw some on your next order. Would recommend washing prior to wrapping as it may still have a bit of oil unlike my lightning kaybee etc...

Wait a minute... I must be doing it all wrong! In my house, it's the other way around: Thinks he knows it all, has a narrow mind, will swear he's right (even if you can provide proof in writing), and everything that's mine is disposable, if he doesn't want it himself... And he's utterly convinced that vaping is the Devil and that I'm "selfish" & "stupid" for doing it. :-x

I love the IDEA of it, and for those less inclined to build fancy coils, a phenomenal replacement.
For me I'd rather a fused clapton. All those nooks and crannies are great at holding juice, and add proportionally to flavor via even MORE surface area than flat.
Physics is fun.
Said no high schooler ever, lol.
Well with physics coming in, flat has much less mass. That means less ramp time shorter pulls and longer battery life.
Not to mention the Clapton crevices hold juice and crud which is a bit harder to clean.
Flat you just heat and wipe off, literally.

And go...

Bad Rixy
Wait WHAT? Your girlfriend is your exes twin sister? That's either very brave or very stupid but interesting to say the least.

Light a cigarette.

If he's not on his knees by the time you're finished, holla back and we'll think of some other way of annoying him into compliance.

I want to mention to those who are not aware about the newer flat wire for rebuilding.
I got some .3 x .8 flat stainless to try and it is nice. Credit to @Don29palms for bringing it up in a thread although he got nichrome.
I wrapped just like a fused Clapton and it compares to maybe 26g round.
I built a dual 6 wrap and it came out around.13. Because it is flat you get more surface area than round.

Does wire count toward shinyitis, I don't think it does so go buy some.

I recently watched a really cool vid from a guy in Norway who makes his own flat wire from 22ga Kanthal. His ended up at about .15mm x 1.8mm He did a really good job of explaining how it performed compared to clapton wire and did a great job of showing some of the benefits. His process for turning out the finished product didn't look to be overly difficult but it seemed like it would be pretty time consuming. Where did you get yours?

You can get the stuff on ebay or Amazon for pennies/foot.

And remember, it doesn't count against your shinyitis points, per @stols001's directive.

Yes, the Mistress of the Dark Nicotinic Arts made up all the shinyitis "rules."

And then broke them repeatedly.:lol::lol:

But, it is technically an exemption, so have at it, if any of you need encouragement??

Although, it is nice to throw a "legit" purchase in there every now and then.... Although I have mostly been behaving.

GET YOUR SHINYITIS EXEMPTION HERE! HOT, SHINYITIS EXEMPTION AND POPCORN being SOLD!!!!

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ This means I am now taking bribes, I think :)

Haha, you're the type that likes to live life on the edge, don't you? That would only confirm his other criticism of "No self control." He's one of those over-the-top non-smoking activists, where he thinks simply stopping works easily and every time. He's becoming one of those 'get off my lawn' geezers, but I'm a little over 2 years older than he is! LOL

Actually, you're right on the group thing.
PO runs I can't do, so if no one responds there just keeping. I don't have time to do everything seperate

Do you know that you can print out shipping labels at home and leave packages on your porch for USPS to pick up? That is the only way to do it, IMO.

Never ceases to amaze me that women don't control everything...
Men are outnumbered by women, 2 to 1, and women multitask better...
Also, behind every great man is usually a great woman. Telling him what to do every step of the way.
