I'm probably the first person ever to say this, but if you're gonna go unregulated...
Skip the pulse. Better options out there for same or less money.
from my experience I feel like it was the best bang for the buck that I've gotten out of my limited number of purchases. it's been bulletproof for me but everyone has different expectations and experiences. that's one of the things I really enjoy about vaping. lots of choices and there are so many ways to make the experience unique

@jfcooley and the other squonkers.
Found a box that interests me but never heard of the manufacturer or the online store.
Not on ecf so won't link directly.
It's at vvs619
And is a dual 18650 , the pwm.one

Although they only have green.:(
That's a PWM box, have you used one before. They have no limitations and you need to build in accordance to what your batteries will supply, think of it as a mech mod that you can turn the power down on if you want. PWM mods fire at the current battery voltage, the board controls the duty cycle (Pulse Width) that it fires at and that controls the output.

A PWM mod vapes like no other regulated mod, it's immediate and smooth.

I'll probably buy a Pulse. I have been looking at them, just not sure about unregulated mods.
If/when I get the pulse, what ohm should I build a dual coil?
Or, you know, could've bought on that was for sale... :) Too late now . :)

Have not owned a pwm but many mechs.
I know it's similar but totally different lol, kinda always wanted to try a pwm but just never have.

Man, that squonk price was tempting! It does seem you get so much bang for your buck with a mechanical. If only they didn't go "bang".

And once again, with the link, so glad that it was to gearbest. Seriously, if y'll want to help me never buy a thing again, just "spoiler' all your links except the ones to gearbest.

Sometimes when I say, "Never again" well, I actually mean it. Yes, it was technically my fault, but I can still hold a grudge....

I can also do a pretty good sulk, too. Ask anyone in my family, LOL.

Depending on what you have for tools and your soldering skill level there are parts available to easily build your own. Big Al has some great PWM boards, Alpinetech Cases, numerous printed battery sled's, Varitube or ModMaker BF 510's, etc... very rewarding to DIY. :D

Bulletproof? Absolutely.
At release you couldn't beat it for the price, and mine served me well for the month or so I had it.
That said...
That voltage drop is no joke.
I never realized it until I got the dot squonk.
Pulse feels like it's at 60% on the battery to start with, and drops from there.
The GeekVape Athena hits like a tank in comparison...

After that my Pulse was given away.

Good call. Can't beat that for the money. Hits like Mike Tyson for cheap.
And the simplicity of it is great. That's one thing that I really enjoy about these little things. There's not much that can go wrong with them if you keep them clean.

So might I just say I bought one, and I love it (ran down to my local vape shop, and they gave it to me!) and squonking's the best?

Yes, I might say that, @Walter_Sobchak , to get you to stop with the relentless links, LOL.

I actually need a MTL squonker and a MTL RDA, so seeing the big ole 27something battery made me give it a hard pass. It also needs to be a "Hello Kitty" squonk, so if you can find ALL that, WS, I just might do it.... No wrap, it has to actually be the mod.

(LOL, I'm getting afraid of @Coastal Cowboy here, he might actually come UP with something). And then I'd be stuck with a Hello Kitty squonker because of my bratty nature.

Or... could gift it to the husband I guess.... It's so hard to turn down a spouse's gift, even if you HATE it, LOL.
