Actually, and I'm not certain exactly why, the mod can make a difference in flavor, IMO. DNA mods seem to provide the most consistent flavor, perhaps because they are really converting power to the board most efficiently and consistently. I've had mods I hated (pico I am talking to you) regardless of what I put in there/tried different coils/tanks etc. I hated them all, to me the pico isn't comparable to a provape, any other DNA board, and there are a few makers like Teslacigs that just have very efficient, consistent delivery systems that don't show sag really until close to the end of battery life.

I've found that with cheaper, less consistent boards it's hard to enjoy the vape/flavor as much as it can be somewhat variable, and the way the Pico used up my single 18650 battery, well I have to believe the power board was less efficient and less consistent than my provaris or any other DNA mod. The really good boards tend to have great battery life as well.

With the wrong mod, I can find the flavor widely variable. I know you get what you pay for and everything, but there are just some mods I remain happier with than others. Flavor in your tank that is distributed unevenly and inconsistently can lead to weird things (JMO as always).

If all that were true, the only mods that always produced the best tasting vape would be mechanical.

Taste is too subjective to distinguish between power sources. Ohm's Law is a scientific law that can be repeated in a laboratory experiment. "This mod tastes better than that one" is an expression of judgment.

Do you find the resin ones chewy?

I like the fruity exhale of rainbow mods. Kinda like Skittles.

Well of course it's a judgement. Maybe someone else feels differently, I was expressing my experience which usually includes a judgment of some sort.

With that said, I have not tasted a resin mod yet, I am eagerly awaiting one, and I hope it comes today! I think @whodat2112 got his already but mine, not yet... :)

I think you would perhaps enjoy rainbow colored mods, resin mods, there are some really bold black and whatever color primary color mods sometimes that are totally eye-catching.

But, yeah, the most colorful vape item in the world is of no use to you unless you like the way it vapes. Also, depending on price point, well, I have seen mods that make me drooooollllll.... But I know they'd either be too fragile for my tastes or something (and I have dry mouth so drooling is rare for me).

You gotta give us some starting points though.... :) E.G.. the Tesla Punk has flashing LED lights that (thankfully in my eyes) can be turned off. Etc.
