It doesn't leak unless you overfill when squonking. You learn very quickly how much is too much. Any juice not taken up by the wicks goes back into the bottle thanks to gravity and the principle of hydraulic head.
As mentioned earlier, a dripping atomizer is the best flavor producing atomizer on the market. A bottom-fed version has an added benefit: It forgives hasty, sloppy, lazy and otherwise incompetent coil wicking jobs. Since you don't have to battle a hydraulic head gradient in a tank full of juice, you don't have to worry about leaking through the airflow system at the bottom of the tank. You want excess juice to escape a squonking atomizer, but it goes down into its container, not out on your clothes, hands, keys, cell phone, tools or the cat.
