Well we sold the broken 4 wheel drive for parts today, yippee.. (it was totalled - broken frame) and we have just enough to buy the used one we have our eye on - but we will have to be super careful with money the rest of the month...

I'm happy, but have weeks worth of poverty ahead, so I'm thinking I'll likely not participate much in this thread simply to avoid temptation. ..

Don't suppose looking at a bunch of cool stuff I can't afford will do me any good ... lol.. so I'll leave you all too it!

It doesn't--it's just that almost every device not named Provari is designed for flat tops so I assumed that's what it was designed for. Though now that I think about it, I'll bet button top 18490's would work.

@lil_buddy ... clean and neat lines like that appeal to me. And that size would be perfect for stashing in a suit or sports jacket breast pocket.

I love the size! There are literally only 3 regulated mods on the market that meet my 65mm height maximum and take external batteries - now I will own ALL of 'em.

The MVP4 will be my first and it's stateside. Hopefully it will arrive this week. It's kinda boring looking but supposedly it does better than average TC and is a real workhorse. The fact that I got it for $25 with shipping was an added bonus

I ordered a few extra of the glass expansion tubes just in case. They were cheap, 3 bucks each

One more thing. The .50 head at 70 watts is excellent IMO
The .28 head isn't good at any wattage that I have tried.

Looks like yours comes with the .28 ohm head.
Buy a .50 ohm head before you "give up" on the tank.

I hated the .28 ohm, but love the .50 ohm.
Your mileage may vary.

I'll probably try it out. If I know that it's something I'll never use I'll let you know! I think they include two coils so it's not like I have to buy anything else for it. I only have one MTL setup now and don't plan moving away from DL completely.
