Is there a floor on shinyitis-induced purchases? Need to know because I'm really thinking of buying something that I already have at least two of and don't really need. It's "old" tech and it's not terribly flashy and it's < $10. I might buy two or four of'em.

Hello Shiny folk, no new shiny for me! This is good. I didn't even get SYMPATHY from the husband when I told him I got sick.
He's so.... suggestible, immediately decided *he* did not feel well either (maybe it's true) whined for a while, and went back to bed. The only "shiny" for me is I am editing up a storm today (taking a minor break) and planning to continue. I am in the groove, so I say RUN with it, though I have some very major to-dos I need to get around to... On Monday.
I still feel slightly weird, but did not purchase to comfort myself.
"Old" shiny counts less, because it is cheaper, but unless it's for reasonable backup (sounds like it is) well, that doesn't count in the manifesto. Reasonable number of favored setup backups are not only needed, but encouraged.

I was using one, but when poured from "jug" it didn't cooperate
And I did not have any "beverages".
I rarely do, but Friday night at parade I went to local bar and got two shots of Jagermeister.
When I drink, I prefer about 2 or 3 shots of alcohol, and then I'm good.
