I only do written as well, since my fumbling with gear would give most people a heart attack!

And yay, word finally sorted itself out. I am clean, armed with diet pepsi, and ready to roll.... Into the evening activities I have promised the husband. Also, I got more done. ENTHUSIASM!! OR the desire to be DONE and then what did I promise myself, oh yes, a PUPPY!!!

I have wanted to behaviorally train a dog ever since I read the best book ever, "Don't shoot the dog!" (Works great on humans and children raised like wolves. I got the "worst" kids on the reservation, and no one could figure out how I got them in line in about 10 sessions. When I started, I logged about 106 interventions per session, but by the end I was down to about five. They were the cutest kiddos (although, one did have a screaming fit in my office for 45 minutes, I offered him a Christmas gift and his brother was getting something "better." I said, "Do you want this gift or not, answer." He said, "No," well, I guess no one ever took him at his word before. IT TOOK ALL MY POWER to NOT cave, but I knew if I did, it was gonna suck.

He never stepped out of line again, and took the offered gift the next week.

Surely a puppy will be easier? Only they have teeth and whatnot, but I have my cunning plans. Heh

I did reviews several years ago there weren't as many people doing them back then. It was fun for awhile then it started to become time consuming and work so I quit. When you get so much stuff you cant really put something threw its paces like if you used only that mod or topper for a month or so.
I ended up giving the Mag I got to my girl friend she is a Doctors Assistant so it should be fine for her thats another thing just because something dose not fit my needs dose not mean it will be great for someone else. I mostly just use reviews to see how a mod works so I dont have to read the instructions LoL

My problem with most reviews is just that, they only show features and the like. Few give honest impressions or thoughts.

I watch some of those that do, but I still feel they sugar coat or ignore potential issues. Some don't, DJ for example.

I really wish there wasn't a fear of pissing off manufacturers or worse, fans of those manufacturers.

Just my 2¢

I prefer written reviews these days. So much easier once you figure out what works for you. I seldom use yt for anything but music anymore.
and only at Walmart so when Im feeling down I can find people who are way worse off than me : )

Ever go to "people of wal mart" website?

Funny stuff (people) there
I lived that for nearly 5 years. Worked up through ranks to become Assistant Manager.

Absolutely hated it.

I was working 60+ hrs a week, went a month without a day off. I had 6 depts under me and each one had a fondness for call outs. If there was a call out I ended up filling the spot. Had 2 Dept managers and 1 associate in LOA. I spent more time working as an associate than I did a manager. Never saw my family. Store Manager didn't give much support.

My wife's grandmother was dying and I was out of bounds trying to get her to the nursing home to see her. (Wife has seizures and doesn't drive).

I walked out when the SM made an empty threat. Had enough.

I'll add that I was smoking 2 packs a day. Quit within a week or so of leaving.

Now I test home audio returns. Not glamorous, but I'm done at the end of an 8hr day.
