Bleugh. I'm too confused to even be shiny today. In fact, very shortly I will be getting ready to leave.
There is this level of "editing" that is not computer based (at least if you are me). It's utterly horrible printing chapters out chapter by chapter and marking it all up with red ink. It's utterly useful, necessary, but I am SO glad I am going thrift shopping momentarily... Especially given that I have yet to take my red scrawls, erasures and total rewrites, and transfer them BACK onto the computer.
Save me! It's worse than disassembling, assembling and vaping one of those "the Russian Number whatever" tanks. Which I have also done, but not recently.
If I have any advice for the day, I'm afraid it would have to be: do not write a book. It really, really sucks so majorly. If I weren't so close to DONE, I would totally scrap the project. I mean, I've wanted to do this forever... .And have spent the last 2 years learning how to do so totally backwards. I don't even care about getting it published at this point, I just want to STOP FIXING everything. LOL.
