Imma need me some of dis flatiron!

What is the size?
Mine is .8 by .3 ss that I threw in a ft order to try.
Kbee has some stateside, I'm sure a few others are starting to carry it now.
I really like it basically because you get the surface area of a fused Clapton but not the mass.
So in short less ramp time and less power required.
Have a single in the Sq on my rsq at 37 watts and it performs great. I think it's 6 wraps at .25ish.

View attachment 726681 Had such a problem with it wanting to unwind when I made it.
Any tips?
I always flame mine first as the flatwire I got isn't annealed, then chuck it up in my drill, wrap enough to do 2 coils and pull the legs out from the wrap.
AVS has flatwire too.

Thanks, I will be getting some of this for sure!

This is a good thing!
My AVS Boaz dripper is leaking through the negative post retention screw and they can put some flat wire in the box with the replacement Boaz.

Why can't people design all RDAs with a Negative post that's machined into the base instead of screwed in... :glare:

Oooh... much editing happened. I'm wilted.

My "on the go kit" includes some joose, a few coil heads, and some spare batteries. I rarely bring an RTA out of the house much (yet). If it dies on my errands, that means that I just use one of my other two mods. I REALLY need to replace my purse (no pics will be offered). Or my vaping closet, which contains many of my favorite things, all my vape stuff (including an ALMOST HALF USED HOW did that HAPPEN) 2.5 gallon vat of VG, most of my "nice" clothes and shoes, and all of my meds.

That place is sacred... No pics of it ever.... I love walk-in closets and have been known to sleep in mine.

Okay, if we're anywhere near a Ross today, I should grab a purse, though. Mine's about to die.... I can just somehow sense it though I am in admiration of all ya'll's organization.

You know, I HATE opossums, but I actually LIKE @Sickbxy , it's kind of a conundrum. LOL.

I immediately had the "it wasn't me" moment too, but to be fair, it HAS been me lots of times, so I'm not going to feel all guilty about having it. I have also encountered that particular "rule" in the past, and the reason for it (a vendor) and the reason not to use it in any other context.

If you want to skype or FaceTime sometime, I can show you my building process with tips. I’ve taught a few new vape shop employees how to build despite being a noob myself lol
It's amazing how little most of them know about vaping. Maybe because after working in a vape shop all day the last thing they want to do is watch vaping vids

Sorry cannot help with purses. ; )
Personally not organized at all most stuff in boxes several boxes for mods , 1 box of 2 types of flavorings in glass bottles, Mrs and i use yes only 2 types how boring. lol
Another box for older e-cig stuff and tanks etc.The gallon jugs of pg and vg kept near train layout and lifetime supply of our 100mg nic kept in garage freezer .
Made 100ml batch of pg/vg/nic diy and vape in one of the ares and quite fond of it.
The Mrs is organized.

What amazes me are the ones who don't vape and think it's a good idea to open a vape shop!

The husband is organized. Disturbingly so. I can't figure out how he puts up with my disorganization, although he does at times (usually late at night) wax on a bit disturbingly about how he was "sent" here to "rescue me" from "some spiral." To be fair, we both believe in the afterlife and stuff, I'm just usually slightly less specific about the whole endeavor.

I always ask, "Save me from what? You?" that ends the conversation.

Although I will say we tend to be intrigued by what we don't know about, so it's not so infrequently that a hoarder/disorganized mess will be paired up with an organizational genius and etc. I'm okay with it. I don't touch the filing system, he stays out of my closet, etc.

After he dies, I guess I will be having to up my organizational game, although honestly, I function just fine on my own. The husband would just FREAK though, if I tried to take over the bills, (I did try, once, just because he was super stressed. But, I have put my bill-paying skills in storage, until I need them, hopefully never.) I just wanted to prove to the husband that I could DO IT, I mean I raised some of a kid and got a master's degree in the process AND paid my bills, in fact when we met, it was *I* who purchased our first house, as I had the credit history to do it. He did not. LOL. Since becoming a "family person" he got much more responsible, things didn't exactly start out that way.

SO GLAD to either stick to this husband until the bitter end, or just live alone. I will have dates, boyfriends, but I am never living with another person again. It's too exhausting.

Oh, the husband came in all upset, he must REALLY be quitting because he was "paralyzed with indecision" about creating a TV antenna since we no longer have cable. "I know what to do!" he said. "I just can't wrap my brain around it! What if something goes wrong!" he said.

He is talking about pieces of wire, like coat hangers. He's an engineer. I think it's REAL. I did ask when he last smoked and he said, "I don't remember!" LOL, I'm hoping that's good, not "I just smoked one because I got all altercated about our antenna."

What amazes me are the ones who don't vape and think it's a good idea to open a vape shop!

What amazes me is when I scroll thru the new posts and people ask medical questions like "Started vaping and having heart palpitations" or " When I vape I get very dizzy".....Maybe ask a doctor, not someone on a forum.
