Yum, even I enjoy this mix and not a lover of either flavor.

can someone who knows their way around DNA devices tell me what I'm screwing up.
I have this set at 40w, 450f, SS316L, .25 ohms with a SS coil. When I press the fire button I'm getting a "temp protected" error. Works fine in wattage mode and TC worked earlier but I've obviously screwed something up.

Temp protection is just that Randy, the chip is keeping the coil at the temp you've chosen. The screen is just telling you the chip has your back. @Eskie can give more details for the techy stuff.

I've pretty much lost my taste for all vendor juice but I had my favorites for years and most came in glass bottles. I have a whole drawer full and boxed the overflow. Gotta get to mixing soon. Trying to collect some recipes and have some new flavors coming to try.

I admire all of you who DIY. Even though I have the basics... nic, pg and vg, supplies... because of the FDA scare, I still haven't tried.

For now I'm quite happy with my vendor favorites.

Maybe some time in future, I'll give it a try. Right now since the kids are gone, I don't even cook much and can't imagine becoming a chemist at this point in my life.

nevermind. I guess I have to have "resistance locked" to use TC.

It wasn't firing at all. I didn't have "resistance locked" checked.
