I never lock the resistance on my DNA's only on the WeeLeaf, Aegis and Minikin 2.

If your baseline cold resistance is not correct you will not have a proper working TC. Make sure the atty vapes in power mode and the coil stays well saturated at that power level. I have had a poorly working TC before only to find the wick was too loose in the coil or it was not getting enough juice flow.

Bah. Have been neck deep in insurance/patient assistance/etc things for HOURS. Sometimes it really sucks being a SW, I know all the programs to check. My insurance will not cover stimulants, period.

My doc office only takes calls at selected times, so I have been emailing them, LOL. Hopefully I can just go pick up an Adderall XR script this afternoon and fill it at Costco. Oh, it's still poverty inducing, but not quite as much, and I know I'll hate it, but not quite as much as immediate release Ritalin. Sigh.

I can apply for patient assistance due to my drug not being covered by my insurance by whoever makes Concerta, since I am "underinsured" ATM but that usually takes a couple months and I need to be able to FOCUS to do it. So.... Adderall it is.

I'm glad I bought coils and batteries and all that BEFORE spending $273 on a medication I cannot use. Because I certainly would NOT have done that otherwise. LOL. So life goes not always in a way that suits.

All SS316L is NOT the same it can differ from mfg to mfg and will perform differently under TC.

I use two profiles, regular Steam Engine SS316L and the UD SS316L V4 from the Evolv forums modified by Jaquith which runs a little hotter.

Rename the extension to .CSV and load it onto the mod through the materials tab in eScribe.

If you lock the resistance on a DNA device you disable the chips ability to do refinement.
Refinement?
Thank you for sharing that. I think this device is too smart for me.

Put it on the computer and see if you have DJLsb's theme pre-installed. If you don't install it.
I'm going to hook it up to my laptop when I get home tonight. Do I just go to the Evolv site that is listed in the manual? What is this about DJLsb's theme? Is that at the Evolv site too? Pardon my ignorance but I KNOW NOTHING about this whole DNA thing.

Also, the only way it worked in TC mode was with the resistance locked. So, I should just run in wattage mode until I do the update tonight? Thank you in advance for putting up with my stupid newbie questions.

Ok. I'll attempt to figure that out tonight when I get home and install escribe on my laptop.

I had bookmarked DJLsb's "Evolv DNA 75C with Escribe and Theme Editor Tutorial" video at some point. You probably told me about it previously and I'd forgotten. Imagine that.

Doubt it was me that mentioned it. I don't mess with the chip much.

If it were me, I'd probably just vape it in wattage mode for now. I still use wattage mode quite frequently and I'm not dead yet. Although, at my wattages, when I use TC, "temp protect" never seems to kick in, so I am doing something right with my wattages and juices.

Or, something HORRIBLY wrong with my TC devices, but I really don't think it's the latter. I hope. LOL.

On a happy, shiny note, the husband appears to be doing MUCH better today.... By a lot. One minor explosion, not too much else. :)
