I had better performance from single wire coils and thinner guage with mechanicals. Should give you more life from your batteries and fast ramp up. Not dripping sounds great. I want a squonk but a compact 2 battery regulated. I don't think that exists. Single coil in the drop is nice too. Posted this the other day, use the center coil for reference on where to place.

They make some solid single battery squonks that are regulated. Even if you carry a spare battery it's better than dripping.
