I’m mostly mixed fruits (no citrus except grapefruit), florals (even the strong ones like jasmine, lavender....love honeysuckle), and teas mixed with any of the above. Not anything too sweet though beyond the natural flavor of the fruits. I have a particularly weird palate dislike for any artificial sweetener
Pear and/or apple, and dragon fruit are lovely with honeysuckle. Raspberry itself is slightly floral and good with hibiscus or a gentle note of jasmine and white grape. I don't care for lavender or peach but have read they pair nicely. Strawberry is usually a bit sweet, pairs well with honeysuckle but another floral as jasmine or lavender is called for. Hibiscus and passion fruit are also another good mix.

I vape 1.6 ohms, 12-13 watts, and I think that changes what flavors you can enjoy. When I did DL sub ohm, my juice choices were very different

What gauge wire do you use for your coils? That would be a bit warm for me for real..

I use 26 gauge wire and run around 1.2 - 1.4 ohms but I can't run above 13 watts even using the 26 gauge wire without it being too hot and burning the ejuice ..

I imagine your burning your ejuice way too hot. Have you considered using TC? It might help you get a vape you like without burning juice..

@NolaMel Helping you could end up being a learning experience for me. There are many on this thread who primarily do fruits. I am not a fan of over-sweet e liquid either. Teas could be very good for building different flavors on. Floral is something new to me. Very intriguing. I will see what I can find in those categories. If you are starting out i would suggest to keep it simple. I made 1 and 2 flavor liquids at first then gradually got more complex. Now I am back to 2 flavor liquids lol.

@NolaMel The main thing with DIY is not to overthink it. It is very easy. With the unique flavors you like it is right up your alley. You can create the perfect recipe that is your own. DIY tends to be much less sweet. Letitia seems to know a lot about the flavors you are going for. There is a lot of knowledge in this thread alone. If you can't find the answer here there is a whole section on ecf dedicated to diy. If you have any questions feel free to ask away. :)

For the record...all I know about teas are which ones I enjoy sipping.

Teas mix well with florals, warmer fruits like figs and berries. I love cherry blossom and rose and honeysuckle for lighter notes. Jasmine and lavender may be for the strong of heart. He kept the jasmine on a back shelf with my name on it

I’m stubborn. Haven’t tried building coils yet. I’m sure I probably could, I can make jewelry and stained glass windows... I just like the don’t have to think ease of dropping in an atty

On a factory made drop in 1.6 ohm atomizer I've never been able to go above 11 watts without burning juice...

Seriously on the TC... they make a couple tanks that take drop in coils which can do TC.. it's not a large amount but there are some. .

I think you are ready to start experimenting. You know what you want and how to get there. It is just a matter of figuring out the amount of each flavoring you need.

Aspire triton (as well the triton mini) has some tc coils if memory serves, and that tank would be up your alley..
I have two Tritons that I have not used in four years lol

Lol.. do you know how many tc coils they make?

I see they seem to have a .15 ohm coil that's tc.. and the aspire cleito has a .4 ohm...

I'm looking for something around .8 - 1.2 for her that does tc, but I'm not finding it yet so i may have spoken too soon..
