morning all...just about to catch up. we've been busy!
the horrible situation of not having anything on order with FT has been resolved. pre-ordered the berserker RDA...$26.79 isn't too shabby after slapping on the MAP code. sold 150ml of liquid yesterday so that just about pays for it!
my foray into MTL takes another couple of faltering steps...though my siren v2 is stubbornly refusing to head west. here boy...got some tasty juice for you...

it's irking me slightly as i've purely been using my DIY liquids for months but i've bought a bottle of ready mixed havana cigar 12mg 50/50. tried a couple of my own mixes but none of them were doing it for me. only 10ml so it isn't breaking the bank but still...feels like a bit of a defeat.
in the grand scheme of things i know it isn't and i haven't smoked in over two thirds of a year so i should be happy about that...i am happy about it!

Not finding a recipe you particularly like isn't that big of a deal..

I think tobaccos are hard. I've found a couple store-bought tobacco ejuices that my husband likes but nothing yet in DIY.. and I've bought a lot or stuff for DIY tobacco juice.. lol..

Sometimes when your going after a particular taste, it takes a bit to get it right, and not just with tobaccos either!

Just keep going after recipes in the flavor profile you enjoy, someday your bound to come across one that is perfect for you!

you're right. i think that part of the problem is that i really don't know much about tobacco flavours. adding some sweetness? a hint of vanilla? bergamot?!? a couple of years ago when i first tried vaping i went straight to a tobacco flavour and it didn't do it for me at all. this experiment is really to try a slightly stealthy MTL setup. currently i'm not the most subtle of vapers! want something a wee bit different for travelling at the end of the month though i'll be lugging my regular kit too. a winding path but an enjoyable one as i'm sure you'll agree

I'm looking for something around .8 - 1.2 for her that does tc
Why? Resistance will only be meaningful if you stay in the same material and even then it's only secondary.
TC materials have lower specific resistances, what you really are looking for are coils with a similar mass to those you're preferring now, they would vape in a very similar way.

Great.. I don't do TC so i don't know..(I've literally never used TC).

NolaMel is currently using 1.6 ohm coils at 12-13 watts and is burning most juices i believe.

I figured TC would be a specific help, in that range for a low wattage MTL vaper.

I can't wait to hear your thoughts on the Berserker RDA. I saw that price last week on FT but I'm always hesitant to get something that is just coming out. Thankfully there are adventurous souls like you!

I've been using 50/50 nic salts in my MTL setups with really high nic content and am curious how non salt juices compare. With RDAs and non-MTL RTAs I use 3mg juices. Are the 12mg too harsh with MTL?

Sometimes your tastes change. I get some premade when I want a change up or to get new Ideas for diy. I am going to get some this week to vape on while my new batches steep. Excited for Purilum Sweet Tobacco tho.

Good morning shiners! I'll pretend to get caught up later. @lupinehorror there's a really good tobacco flavor only thread in the e liquid section. It's all worth checking out of you want a hand at tobacco juices. They are a bit harder to get right than say simple fruit type juices.

Try adding flavors from what you already like. Look at the tobacco as an addition instead of a base. If you like fruit try apple, peach, pear etc. Dessert, try chocolate, cinnamon, maple, apple pie, custard, bavarian cream, vanilla, etc. Of course coffee snd cappuccino. Most of these can be used in any combination. I am a fan of creamy tobacco. Vapetasia Royalty II is a good one I have been trying to emulate that one myself. The important thing is to find a good tobacco flavor. Many of them are awful...

I forgot wine. Not my cup of tea but very popular in tobacco juices.

Rum too.

There is a butter rum tobacco that my husband loves..

I think alcohol flavors pairs well with tobacco...might be why people smoke and drink together. .

The hardest thing for me was finding something that went well with coffee and booze. i think that's why I gravtitated towards tobaccos coffees and baked goods... That sounds delicious! What's the name of it? oh, I also forgot plum and graham cracker. Those are good too.
