There has been talk of those autofiring if juice gets in around the Mosfet, it's already damaged some.
Conformal coating (+ evtl silastic) could help. Always wondered why not all our mod electronics have conformal coating, it's not like it's particularly expensive.

The replacement Boaz arrived today from AVS including a new package of pre-made coils, props to them! Hopefully this one doesn't seep from the negative post screw. Moar AVS stickers FTW!

My Castle sat in customs all weekend :glare:... It finally started moving again and should be here in 2 days.

Now for the best one, my iSwitch boards from Big Al are out for delivery...

Which mod are you selling off?

Sold my punk. Lovely mod. Hurt my hands to pick it up. And a radius. Heresy, I know, but I have more than I "need" exactly since my "great pickup of a bunch of provaris including 3 procyons", which I thought I might sell some of but I LOVE them too much (just now) and having much Provari and 2 other radiuses, well, I sold one to a good home, and really I gotta weed through more things, and sort of discipline myself, etc. I love LOVE provari's tube mods a great deal, would rather (I think) part with a radius etc. Good cause plus hey dealing with all my medical debt etc, it's always nice to be ahead, not behind. Etc.

That would be easy, but product would last longer than they want it to.

The Limelight is a HEMO squonker (£325) that shouldn't have an unprotected mosfet board under the top fire switch.

Eek! For the price there should be ZERO quality issues with the device. It should perform flawlessly without having to fix or modify it "Style is the convergance of form and function". I forget who said it, but I love that quote.

somewhat. as I get older I find myself avoiding too much sun. I got enough that I'm noticeably darker but not so much that I'm burnt or peeling.

Where in Florida did you go on vaca?

We had a fire in the fireplace last night because the hubs deemed it “cold” out (low 50’s). This is the same man who keeps the a/c set at 68 all summer because it’s too hot out. Heading to Denver Wednesday night, where we’ll get some real cold for a few of the days. As soon as the coffee kicks in, I’ve got to go decant the nic into bottles and put in the deep freezer. No shiny shopping till I get that done (self imposed so I don’t turn into a nic storage heretic like Coastal Cowboy ;))
Have you looked at the forecast for Denver?

Not a problem with the mechanical version just the mosfet one. There was a fair bit of discussion about how that shouldn't happen on a high end mod. It's a beautiful squonker, but a poorly implemented switchfet.

With any top fired unit there is a great chance of getting juice into the workings.

Received the Dotmod RDA as well as the trinity cap..love the look of the trinity but not crazy about the airflow with it as its non adjustable. The RDA cap is more to my liking in the way it draws with the AF about 1/2 open and the flavor is great. @Sickbxy was correct about the squonk pin, must be easy with that thing as there is no drain back into the bottle. so it can easily flood before you know it.
