I do not subscribe to this philosophy. I chose to not have children. I recognize what I've missed, but do not regret the decision.
I did. Good food, drink, and company.
What I mean is that without the experience you cannot truly appreciate what you did not experience.. therefore, you don't have the full recognition of whatever it is..
I can recognize that there was an experience I didn't have, but the extent of what that experience truly is I can never understand without the experience..you cannot really miss what you don't know...
You might know you didn't have children and even some of what that might mean, but without the experience you have no frame of reference to the amount of love that makes your heart feel as it if will burst upon the sight of your child or the million other feelings that a person experienced as a parent...
You can only truly recognize some things apart from the experience...
