Which part? There's rather large differences North vs South as well as East vs West regarding language, culture, food, buildings and general base grumpiness of inhabitants.
A full round trip Leipzig-Berlin-Bremen-Köln/Düsseldorf-Stuttgart-München would give you a rough overview of what the bigger cities are like (and you can always take a short trip to the more rural areas from there).

I would happily give $10 a month if cold weather was taken out of the equation. Utilities here can be crippling in an old house.
here we have little of anything extreme. mostly. should be thankful i suppose. city is called "dear green place" after all

Nevermind. You're question made me realize I was better off opening Google Earth and just "seeing" Germany. :)

@NolaMel I'd be very surprised if you broke anything. While that pin wasn't supposed to be tampered with it has a user friendly unscrewing method so they'd have to have had that in mind. Breaking the insulator isn't particularly easy, the material is fairly tough for as little as there is in there.

Make sure you caught the threads right and didn't cross, while the pin is out try to see what's in there and if everything is seated well.

In conclusion: on a "production" device never change anything without a good reason (eg it's hoopajooped anyways). Don't assume you need to turn a screw just because you can :D (long time carburettor experience speaking ).
If it's just a device for experiments - have at it then.
I washed and rebuilt, and it’s performing fine. Either I had it built too high, or there was a snippet of wire lodged in there. DNA and the coil master agree on ohms, so no idea. Learned my lesson (fortunately without a major event). No more taking apart things that work, pinky swear

Ok, I'm going to maybe be the bad guy.

Am I the only one a little...I dunno, about this mooch thing that popped up.

I appreciate and respect what he does...but...c'mon.
I have no problem with him asking for support. The worst I will do is politely decline if I'm not interested, and I haven't decided yet.

Which one is the clone, found a crapload of cloned Kayfuns in a BM going for $5 a pop. The drip tip was interchangeable with my 3.1, so now I have the Kayfun style drip tip instead of the 510. Honestly, I would not be able to tell the difference between authentic and fake on the street except the logo being cleaner on the authentic...

I also don't see a problem with that. No new dangers of corruption arise, what's possible then is already possible now (speaking as devil's advocate obviously). The community could get more out of it than it gets now.

A major drawback for him though is some form of battery regulation (eg vape shops can't sell them any more or devices with exchangeable batteries get banned), then he'd be out of a job in a short time.

If you don't like pop ups there's ways for less nerdy people to get around them (addons and the like).

He's done so much for the community. Batteries are one of the most dangerous and otherwise important components we use in vaping.

His patience in teaching and the time he has spent doing so has saved lives I have no doubt. Lives.

All of us owe a debt of gratitude for his time.. for the knowledge he has brought to the community and how that knowledge has likely prevented many idiots from killing themselves and ending vaping freedom for all of us..

The fight to keep vaping legal is real, and has been real for years and the less people ignorant of danger the better for us.. incidents however small and not associated with vaping can be twisted in media to get blamed on vaping.

Can you imagine if the education Mooch provides didn't exist?

Sorry... it's not a bad idea for him to devote more of his time... I'm poor, but if I can afford 5.00 a month then I will give for that..

No one is demanding you donate, no one is requiring any thing of you.. but if ECF cannot support Mooch's proposal to the extent to make sure that people actually see what he said, then it wouldn't be a forum I would want to be a part of.

I mean seriously, is a slight inconvenience of having to close a pop-up worth a complaint when Mooch has this much worth to vaping and vapors?

If you don't care to donate then dont. But there is zero point complaining about closing a window when the topic has real impact.

Poper Blocker works for me. I used to know how to hack Chrome but the space in my brain was needed for stuff I need to know how to do if I wanna get paid and get laid.

Vaping wins again.
When I smoked I got colds with lung involvement every Winter. Every Winter.
Those colds usually lasted for months.
Since I switched to vaping I haven't been sick for 5 years.
I felt a fever coming on last night before bed.
I woke up after a good night's sleep and I'm all better.
I could tell that there was a mild battle but no lingering fever or anything else.

That's less than 10 times in 5 years that I felt a bug try to take hold.
Every single time I wrap up and ride it out for a few hours while my recovered immune system kicks it's azz. #winning

Although Mooch's testing has been valuable to much of the vaping community, as a low wattage vaper I don't approach 5 amps, making most of it irrelevant. That said, his work is very useful for those that are vaping at higher power and want to ensure they have plenty of headroom, particularly with mechs.

I can't explain what it is that bugs me, but I assure you that I do respect mooch and what he does. Seems quite likeable in his vids (given that I seldom like anyone that saying alot).

Maybe it's my mood, maybe I felt encroahed upon with that pop up. Maybe I'm not sure.

Maybe it's a person named Mooch asking for money.:D

You are exaggerating to make your point and the exaggeration is unnecessary.

No one has been killed or suffered a life-threatening injury by misusing or abusing their e-cig batteries. Disfigured, yes. Killed, no.

No one is going to die if Mooch doesn't get paid.

If ECF saved the use of popups for important communications only, there would be very few complaints. They don't. They use them for every promotion campaign that enters their collective head. It has become annoying to the point that I have turned on both my ad- and popup blockers.

I'm a supporting member. I've already paid for the privilege of not seeing ads or popups. That was the deal I signed up for and a deal is a deal.

No buts. No exceptions.
