I am getting a Geekvape Legend kit, I'm kind of excited about it! Long story I really can't tell here, but I'm excited to receive it! It's one of those mods that I SHOULD have had a long time ago but didn't ever get to purchasing it. I'll be reviewing it for sure. I don't even need to TRY to break it, I can just, you know, get it up and running. Should tell me how shockproof and waterproof it is, as I attempt to discover its functions. The wet will be my tears probably, as I try to figure it OUT. LOL.

I hope it's not exactly like a pico. LOL. I'm sure it won't be.

Next to the Siren for size comparison... teeny tiny deck  on the sxk doggy. I wanted stealth/small, I sure as shooting got it. I know I can build for it, my question is recs on wire gauge. I know it ain’t gonna be a spaced coil . Am I going to be able to get to between 1.2 and 1.6 on this? If not, I’ll go for one side or the other of 1.

You should be able to with a contact coil. I'm partial to 28 gauge SS wire, but I do use 26 on occasion.

26 SS for me...90% of the time at least. i did use some 24 SS the other day. it was rather interesting. in a good way.

What type of wire will you be using?
If using SS316l I like 26 gauge and use it almost exclusively. 3mm 10 wrap yields about .75 ohm sometimes .7 depending on leg lengths.

I have both 26 and 28...

8 wraps of 28 gauge 316l at 3mm will yield 1 ohm.
I just like 26 gauge because it lasts forever and doesn't deform with repeated rewicking.
As a general rule, I aim for 8 to 10 wraps for a coil because it is a decent amount of surface area for most attys.

Kanthal . I’m a wattage girl. I bought it when I got my first rta. No one mentioned it was like rayon and came in a never ending quantity

The beauty of SS316l is that it can be used in wattage mode or TC. I rarely use TC.

I would try a 26 gauge 2.5 mm 7 wrap (maybe 8 if legs are pretty short) if you're wanting 1 ohm with Kanthal. Just my opinion.
