Hahaha, you must talking about the old 278 up through Tupelo? Southwest Memphis is def a dark place. Like crazy bad. Very poor. And I am from LA!! I have been through it many a time driving from Georgia to California or vice versa. You make sure you do not have to make any gas or bathroom stops until you get well into like Birmingham.When travelling from here to Florida by car, you have to make a very brief jaunt north into the edge of Memphis and then immediately turn back south out of Tennessee.
Problem is, it's in a VERY sketchy part of town and when merging from one highway onto the next you have to fly across about 6 lanes immediately to make your exit.
If you miss it, you have to get off and travel quite a ways to turn around.
My sheltered wife and VERY sheltered kids were freaking out, lol.
First time I ever had my wife ask me if my weapon was loaded and easily accessible in front of the kids (they were still young then).

Not much shiny for me this holiday. Spent all my extra moola on the yard. Got many things including Lantana, Salvia, three beautiful Rose bushes, a few other things. Did order $75 worth of flavorings from E Cig express which is new to me. And a friend that goes to Asmodus got me another Minikin. (because one can never have too many
