Man I got home and it's ALL COLD.
I may be getting vape mail today, not sure. It's the weekend mailman he can be a bit skittery.
And, god bless technology, the mom and the kid are watching "Dear White People" and finding it supremely FUNNY, me and the husband are doing something ELSE because we can't stand it, LOL, but we're all in the same room. in (something of) harmony.
I had at my mom about feeding the kid's dog. Her justifications were endless, "It was just one time."
"Saw you feeding her three times."
"Well, the kid can SAY something then, just like your brother did with HIS dog."
"He did say something, Mom, twice, and you ignored him. Besides, the Kid is not going to go after you like my brother, he knows he's a grandkid and also I raised him different. He said something twice. It just wasn't... so rude you actually paid attention."
"She was hungry, it was one TIME."
"Mom, the vet said she had to lose weight. That dog belongs to the KID and he barely gives her ANY treats at the moment, do you think it's fun for HIM to see that happening? Also, for your information, I love that dog TOO but I deliberately pay her LESS attention because she doesn't belong to me, but if something happens to the kid under your watch, well, that dog is MINE. .I have discussed it with him."
"LET IT GO, it's not your dog."
"Right, but you were in my house, and that is my kid. and well I will be happy to let it go if you actually ACKNOWLEDGE what I'm saying, without doing what you are doing, so I will be happy to let it go, once you can adequately understand what I am asking, and indicate you UNDERSTAND, without justifications.
"Much tense dialogue and my mom telling me to shut up." LOL
I gave up.

MAN.. I don't understand some people (I don't think she understands me either by the way.) But apparently, the dog is going to get very fat indeed because I bet you ANYTHING that any time my brother left his dog home, my mom would feed it human food. Despite it having a fatty liver, and needing a bunch of vet treatment. My mom is just a.... feeder. I hate people around pets who displace their issues onto the pet, like "I like people food so I'll feed the dog." Even when there are PLENTY of ways to give a dog attention and love, I guess the quickest road to a dog's heart is via feeding in my mom's eyes. Man have not paid my son's dog a bit of attention because my mom is being oddly COMPETITIVE about it, like "Snickers loves me best, etc."
NOPE. The dang dog loves the KID best, he's the one who freaking rehabilitated her.
LOL, I need some shiny stuff. Bad. LOL.
Still all going better than expected. Heh.
