With a battery installed in the Desire, it feels nearly the same weight as an aegis legend without batteries.

Interesting. Hmmmm......
I hate you now, lol.

I actually almost bought an Aegis instead of the Armour Pro. They were on sale for $53 for the Legend and $42 for the original, shipped.
My Legend mysteriously disappeared. I think my brother was involved somehow, lol.

100 watts into my coils built for 15 watts for a 1/4 of a second is definitely not a good thing, lol.
You just need a wire material with negative TCR (NTC thermistor). Of course that'll kill TC mode  but it'll flatten the initial spike in VW mode. Now you just need a coil made out of Silicon or Germanium or something like that.
Hm, now I wonder if we have Germanium in Germany

Could always attach a thermistor to limit current for TC mode 'like' performance.......
One with a negative TCR and one with a stable TCR.
That'll work well, lol.

Have you updated the firmware?
What do you think?. I still can’t figure out what the tiny letter is flashing under the wattage circle. Actually, I’m Mac only. Have to find a PC to hook up through. Since I’m watttage only, I really don’t worry about updates unless it solves an operating issue.

The crappy part is they get their .002s firing speed by firing at the full wattage for the first 1/4 of a second. 100 watts into my coils built for 15 watts for a 1/4 of a second is definitely not a good thing, lol.
Have to use the 'soft' preheat setting to avoid it.
It also does this in TC mode and there's no way around it.
All of their mods with the Omni 4 chip have the issue.
They've issued a firmware update that softens it a little, but VERY little.
Other than that, it seems to be a great little mod. Hopefully they'll issue another FW that fixes it.
There’s a solution, if it’s like the Swag. Guy at my vape shop fixed it. Don’t ask me how. Maybe turned CCW down to your wattage?

Vaporesso firmware updates work on Mac, and the flashing letter is an 'A' for auto.

Whenever you put an atty on it will automatically choose a preheat setting it thinks you'll like based on the resistance. It's usually VERY high. Watch your Voltage display and when you first fire it, it will fire at about 8.5 to 9 volts then drop down to what it should be based on your wattage setting.
First thing I turned off, lol.
Then turned the clock timeout down to 1 min. Not sure why Vaporesso thinks we need the clock to stay on for 10 minutes after you're done vaping.

Set at 12 watts, first few seconds are at 5.21 v, then goes to 4.56...whatever that equates to. (Just got home off several days driving, brain isn’t engaging.)

How has everyone been?
Buying lol.
Few pages back (yesterday) I reposted my new devices for jay.

The cut has become my go to regulated squonk. I never ordered thinking I would hate the shape. But saw it in a b&m and had to have one.

I have zero patience. I can’t get past picking a mode lol. How did you get to the rest of the settings?

You just put it into the VW soft mode.
But the Armour Pro is much much worse about it than the Swag.
The Swag is the Omni 2.0 chip and the Armour Pro is the Omni 4.0 .
Only the Armour pro and the Polar use the 4.0 so far.

Press and hold the mode button. Then you can set the clock, change the screen colors, turn auto off, put it in VW soft, etc.

For a fraction of a second it will fire full tilt. you have to watch close since it's so small, lol. I'll pass you my my quad-focals.
After turning off that pesky preheat junk, my liquids taste like they're supposed to.

Whatcha get?
That's a lot of scrolling.

And it's unfair. I've been out of pocket and only been able to buy a Pico 21700, the Armour Pro kit, and an Intake RTA.

Sorry, I’m tired and cranky. All I get in mode are these two screens

On the screen in the first pic (the one with Ti, SS, M1), keep pressing the up button until you get to the M1 setting. Then press up one more time. You'll get one more screen.
