In rotation, over a month and I mean by a LOT (but I've lost count.) I think it would have lasted longer but I stowed mine in the trunk of my car during my jail day of torturous hell. I should have just freaking shoved them in a locker with my cellphone, it cooked all my juices very thoroughly and like, I am just glad the batteries didn't explode.

Man, I am loving my 1.6 coil right off the bat, and actually, I think capacity goes way before flavor, because I was like, "Okay, this is getting TOO restricted, it's kind of hard to vape."

Glad I am liking the 1.6 coil already (although I do expect flavor to improve) it's like super airy and cloudy and delicious and I have enough of them to last the rest of my life, I think. LOL.

Anna

Is it just me, or does that seem the complete opposite of how they used to be? I’m sure the older coils lost flavor first. I was always thinking, I couldn’t taste the flavors after a week or so, and that it was just me.

It’s a nice vape right out of the gate, but do try the replay. I have tried all my tanks on it, and they are at their best that way. It’s spoiled me for other mods lol.
What I did was download the SS316 materials dataset from Daniel's website and upload it to the chip. I've been in that mode ever since. It's perfect.

I think I may have posted this here before, but it's worth repeating:

Using the device monitor programs from NFETools (Arctic Fox) and Escribe, I ran the same tank on my Eleaf Ikonn 220 and the Paranormal. Same TFR curve, same temp/wattage settings. The 250C chip in the Paranormal produced a very smooth curve. The Ikonn produced a good, but significantly choppier curve. The Ikonn is the best performing mod I have with the Joyetech chipset but the Paranormal is measurably better.

The price difference between these two devices is about $100. "Is the better performance worth the increase in price?" Question I haven't answered yet.

That is lovely, cute dogs . Woke up early again, but it wasn't too bad. Chores to be done today, and it may require like, some mud mask action to make it into the bathroom, but it's still earlier than usual, but I MUST do some things LOL, in order to keep up my positive movement forward and happy mental attitude. Still not a TON has to happen, besides some bathing and cleaning and etc. LOL.

Spent any possible shiny money on groceries and OMG I think I am going to have to switch my zenith coil, finally. It doesn't even taste bad, but the vape is getting restricted. Since I only have 1.6 coils ATM maybe that's a good thing.

Yep, I think it will be mud mask, fill all my vapes play around on here, rewick at least ONE thing and etc. I can do it!

LOL

Anna
Easy to tell. Has the resistance gone up? How much? Are you using more power to have a decent vape? That's when I generally change it.

Given that I've gotten like 3 times as much vapor out of the 1.6 coil, and yes, I turned my wattage down, I'm going to say it was well and truly time. Even the flavor's better.

LOL I guess all I need to do to enjoy my next WHATEVER resistance coil is just totally overvape the last one. To be fair, I've been putting it off ever since I fried it in my coil so yeah, it was time.

I’m loving the Vaporesso armour pro ( @Rangertrix can pipe in too). They’re super reasonable right now. The one I thought I would like the least, and only bought to use on the boat, is the Aegis 100w. I was sure it would be too big, but hand feel is great! Bought a second one almost immediately. Either got it from MFS or MVS in a kit with the 21700 door included. SIL took the tank, so no idea what that was like
Wait, the Aegis 100w (I was looking at them) accommodates 2x700? I thought it only took a 26650. Now I'm more interested. Some people had board issues and that threw me off. You can encourage me all you want because I really like it's looks and shape. I also have a .... ton of 26650 batts. I was very interested in a smaller, lighter mod, though.

Because stainless steel resistance changes when it heats up? That's how it can be used in TC, it changes resistance enough to be noticeable. That's why lots of TC mods ask "New coil?" or not every time they get turned on or whatever, etc. They lock the resistance when it's cold and use that resistance change to measure it.

Man, mud mask is off, the entire bathroom is clean, I am STILL not clean because I was like "Do it the sane way, clean all the objects first." But now I need to sit a minute. There is cleaning a bathroom, and REALLY cleaning it, and I spent about 2..5 hours communing with my bathroom. LOL.

Someone tell me why this happens:

When I wrap a coil using Kanthal, the ohms stay steady (.50 ohms and it stays at .50 ohms)
When I use SS the ohms jump all over the place
????????????????????
If I remember right kanthal resistance is stable.
Tc wires flux resistance, that's how they control the temp. Hence the tcr of a wire, basically temp to resistance rating.

Edit: what she said lol, except the mud mask part.

OMG!!!!lol this is great I'm going to need your guys services on a regular basis
Funny as all get out! I asked the same question because I thought this was like a 12 step program for vapers who can't control their impulse buying. I was told that I fell into a trap:p!

I have made a habit of not paying attention to my resistance jumps in my SS wire for some time now. Oh, it started out of ignorance, and it continues out of laziness. Although yes, now OCCASIONALLY if I feel I am overvaping an RTA on occasion, I will check what the resistance has risen to as a sort of "gauge" but that's a different FORM of inattention to start with.

So no, don't like worry about it unless it goes from 0.6 to 6.66 at which point I might worry about what comes next and etc and I don't just mean to my coil, either.
