I did the firmware update today and that apears to have been a mistake. Now I get 75 puffs and the battery is dead. Hope fully I can reload the original firmware that was working just fine!:-x
The OG firmware was horrible as the battery meter wasn't accurate, it would randomly ask New/Old coil for some users and the main bug was it would throttle power way too early. We hounded GV to fix the firmware and put the original coil resistance lock back in place for those of us that use TC.

It's not harder on battery now just more accurate, with the OG firmware your 75W setting would start to be 50W before the battery was even 1/3 depleted...

No one laughed at my first coil build, they gave me lots of suggestions (okay the words were a little wavy they may have been laughing.

We passed through "Weed, California" (I think it was CA) one time, coulda been WV too.Their main exports appeared to be T-shirts emblazoned with their name and funny sayings. I did not partake (in the T shirts) and the husband still wears his out sometimes .I trail a fair way behind him, I consider such a shirt to just be asking for trouble.

I'm jealous of that build and dual coils, too. LOL..

I don’t know what cisgender means as well. Actually I’ve never even seen it before. I may end up losing my membership lol!!

I THINK it means (from what I know so far) people of either sex of the "normative" gender, like if you are born male or female and you want to remain that way, well, you are now "cisgendered" and I forget what it is derived from. A cisgendered person (I presume) can be an "ally" to the non normative gendered, or can be (thinkingly or not) an oppressor, I believe. But, believe me when I say like, "I don't know all the terminology yet." I may just have to travel to my downtown Tucson LGBT organization actually, I'm sure they'd be happy to shower me with information and pamphlets and whatnot.

I gotta say there's a part of me that's like, why don't we just use the terms "male" and "female" and whatever you want to be, well call yourself 'that" but I guess it's not specific enough or whatever. I don't know, but my LGBT center has been consistently helpful generally and has come and given trainings at my last job, and I have no reason to assume they won't be helpful NOW although it was a few years ago etc.

Good afternoon all reflective ones. This thread has grown somewhat since my last visit.

First day without goodies, or the prospect of any being delivered in the immediate future. Have started making my own juice, built my first coil and am out of challenges and inspiration for the time being [joke]. I know, I'll go and build a mag stirrer out of some parts in my PC junkyard.

Thanks everyone for being so encouraging regarding the coils. You have assisted me in managing my guilt to a reasonable level. I know feeling bad about not getting it bang on first time is bordering on the irrational, but being a perfectionist/OCD/pedantic, I promise I'll do better next time and line everything up perfectly.

The Nautilus is doing well, but on the downside it is a really messy, thirsty tank and has the juice capacity of an inverted contact lens. I think I'll designate this one my stay at home/evening tank, due to the impracticalities of daily vaping. I know, I'll recoil it with a single coil and see how she behaves (Coils IMO are feminine and Mods masculine. That should stimulate some debate ...).

If you use single core round wires you may find this rda to be a real PITA to build on

You could try bending the end of the coils into a "U" or ""L" shape to increase the wire contact area.

Ths not a feature.

LOL - "Features" are programmers slang for bad code they don't want to/can't fix for whatever reason. You could always use it as torch, or a backlight for checking coil spacing.

@Letitia, I hope you have now recovered and can sit down without the use of medication or assistance. Or maybe not, as they say - "different strokes for different folks".

I better go now, I see some men approaching with fancy white jackets and luxurious leather trimming ....

Morning shinies :)

Thanks for the nano links. I've also been eyeing up the COV mini volt 40w

And yeah Mel - the doggy sure looks awesome on a nano ;)
I had a COV that died rather quickly. Pretty sure it was a bad board. Took it apart and couldn’t find any other source. Sort of soured me on their mods, even though they were rather popular at the time.
Shoot, for that $$, it’s worth it!
