I only have a couple of internal battery mods. Everything else goes in the battery charger. So, this is WRONG WRONG WRONG??

I would not go over 1 amp. USB off your computer is half that. Try 1 amp and if the device gets hot, stop using that charger
I’m iPad. Rarely pull out the Mac Pro. Suggestions? Why do these people give us cords and nothing to stick it in ? ( button your lip on that straight line @Rangertrix ;))

I wouldn't use that one on an internal battery mod. 2.1 amp is a little high.
Supposedly the mod won't draw more than it can handle, but I like the added protection of limiting it through the wall wart as well.

I believe the expectation from mod manufactures is for us to use a USB port off a computer which only has a 0.5amp output. Cell phone and tablet chargers come in a wide range of outputs. And despite that we (at least I do) mix and match chargers/devices, the manufactures warn against this.

Acknowledgement: I think this may not be worth your time. Just saying.

I just know if I burn the house down, my hubs will put my vape gear through the wood chipper

Man I'm such a good wife, LOL when the husband burned our house enough, that like we had to leave for oh, a year, I didn't put his cigarettes through the woodchipper. I wasn't even that upset (oddly) and I was still working at that point, too. I was very super chill about all of it. Nope, wait, I take that back (I ordered lucky 7 batteries from IMR and they have already shipped, yes by truck, but they are mostly very fast I bet I get then in 2 days.) That was pneumonia time, when I was mostly chill because I was focusing on breathing.

Man, I'm exhausted. I went out and spent a bunch of money (not that much, but seemingly). I got new underwear (the husband was like "GOD finally, I thought I was gonna have to drag you,") socks (even MORE kudos). A Day Planner (I had to resort to an academic one, I could not bear to spend like 18 bucks on one with like 3 "good" months in it and I am hoping the new job hands me an Office Supply catalog and says, "PLEASE YOURSELF! ORDER!" (I still have a ton of things in the shed, but I really love certain pens that are expensive enough that I hope someone will supply them) I AMOST bought yoga clothes but I was like, "I can do better online." (I am skinny but short, so extra small petite at Target is still too big. In FACT they did not carry underwear smaller than size five, so I was sunk I had to go to kidsville and that is going to mean that I better make sure no errant fairy or like butterfly becomes exposed.

Also they were renovating Target. The watches were gone and like, I asked some stock person where they were and she told me a big long story about how like, they were "in the back at the moment" and I was all like, "Well can't a manager help me?" and that did in fact happen (I went there specifically for a watch though, their budget range lasts slightly longer for me) and I was like "twenty bucks around! Black wristband! Super plain and boring! Silver if there has to be metal involved" and she brought me a selection I felt like I was at Needless Markup only I wasn't my watch was $13.42. It was great. It is also named "a New Day," which I found apt.

Also then I went to Walmart and tried to purchase like, everything I possibly could, like High Protein ensure shakes so I don't get week and pathetic driving home and injuring myself, I even got granola bars, man, it was sweet. I got a 30 oz coffee cup with a lid. I am going to need that coffee.

LOL did you know that "serious" coffee drinkers (I heard a study and you are "serious" if you spend more than 3 hours on it per day (it's not about consumption, but time) actually develop a sort of "patina" on their cups due to not washing them, because people don't want to wash them, in fact they only do so for reasons of "shame" like their MIL is coming for a visit or whatnot but the patina is harmless? Like, even if you use milk?" So, some people don't wash them for years, and they can actually be auctioned off after decades at commanding prices?

Yeah, I don't believe a word of it either but I got my new mug and it does make me feel good about getting a mug I might be able to patina, should I choose.

Sorry this is how I get when I spend money (like two hundred and fifty bucks even). Wait til the RV.

Mine get divorced if one has to go to another mod. I guess I’m old fashioned . Battery boxes are even marked married or divorced so I don’t grab the wrong ones. If I see a charging irregularity, I “widow” the keeper and recycle the offender. Maybe I take battery safety too seriously. I just know if I burn the house down, my hubs will put my vape gear through the wood chipper
No open relationships for your batteries lol?
One Aegis would probably break the woodchipper.

I no longer use plug in chargers for my phone(s). One you go wireless it’s difficult to go back. But have no problem dropping my phone on the wireless Q-charger pod overnight. It’s blue LED provides a nice night-light and keeps the boogie man away. And it shuts off when fully charged (also charges at a lower rate)

We all have our own ways of dealing with risk – as long as you operate within the specified levels of said device we should be safe. Personally, I have no issues with integrated battery mods, but do think mod manufactures should provide a qualified charger even if there is an added cost. This would reduce the temptation (be it through ignorance or not) on using an external charger that could prove to be disastrous.
We’re stuck with iPhone because that’s what work provides. And no, it’s not new enough for wireless charging. They’re cheap lol

I’m running out of wall warts here, people. Will this work?

Apart from being an awful shade of green that’s a 1amp output charger. I would be comfortable trying this but if the mod gets hot then unplug and use the USB off your computer/laptop

My last employment required me to be on call 24/7. I refused to install their monitoring software on my personal device so was forced to use their supplied iPhone. Good thing I was not vaping back than otherwise I would have needed a wheel barrel to cart around all my mods and phones!

Oh…they also wanted me to carry a pager as contingency in the event cell service was down. I told them to get real and asked if they knew what year it was…we’ve come a long way since 1999 and everyone carrying pagers!
