I actually apply the same enthusiasm to working as I do everything else. It's the commute that is going to do me in but that's what cheap apartments are for, especially since the husband has changed his mind (again) and now wants to sell the house. I guess we will see.

If it helps at all, the kid is like, 21 and grown and moved to another state. I still worry about him and all, but he's reaching adulthood so that means less frantic "help me calls" so the hard part is OVER.

I do sometimes look back and be like, "How did I do/accomplish all that," but that's why you accidentally get pregnant at age 22, I mean there are some significant downsides, but you can pretty much have enough energy to stay one step ahead of the child/kids.

You should envy me apart from the commute though. This is like, my dream job. I think so anyway, ONE good thing about a DAY long interview is like, you meet everyone.

I actually do a whole ton better with (external) not internal structure although I did need this time to "get well" I mean.... I'm really good at doing what I'm told as long as it's not me doing the telling. I ignore myself.

And for those who are too lazy to actually screw an atty onto your mod ( I know, horribly tiresome right?).....

I like him better than other reviewers. May just be the Scottish accent, but he doesn’t irritate me like most of them do.

. I was thinking along the lines of monotonous, sh/tty job thst your stuck working otherwise youll starve and get evicted and everyday you want to run your car into a building and end it all...

LOL I have been there too only my salaried position and lack of uh, "assistive aids" (reservation, so no ADA) meant I was working like 70 hour workweeks but man, during the Obama years, you would do a LOT for affordable health insurance.

@NolaMel I can't wait for the little one to get married and have kiddos, (despite my firm council to like, avoid a teen pregnancy I even told him, " You can't use HER condom either carry your own! LOL and then went into these long rants about how, like, the chick around here were like, manipulative "censored censords" who would do ANYTHING to get attention and a free ride, LOL I hope I haven't scared him off,:lol::lol::lol:) But he seems more interested in tricking out the truck he owns, somehow. LOL.

I guess he is not ready. I AM SO READY, LOL.

XIV is 100 € direct from volutemodz
I dont know about paying $116 plus tax and shipping for a driptip with a 510 connection haha. I still want it but after seeing a price it's out of my reach unfortunately.

It's brand new. Price will probably come down some.
Or give it an hour or two for the clone to come out. :D

I found it available at their site. 100 euros. Don't know how many dollars that is. There was a couple videos too. Very well thought out for such a short RDA. looks much roomier and user friendly than the other short RDAs. It being single coil helps with that. Brilliant simple design.

Afternoon Shinies,

Trust everyone is well, safe and looking forward to the weekend.

Getting on nicely with the Article Dolphin, but the Reuleaux is now clearly sulking. Decided that the benefits of SS wire coils outweigh their disadvantages, as TC is really a blessing. Only having had one dry hit so far, I don't want to repeat the experience again in a hurry. There is definitely a huge taste difference between tanks, wicking methods and coils though, although it is quite hard to quantify. Deciding on a favourite is hard.

Have been looking at some of Morten Oen videos (Thanks @dom qp) and gone for the tight wicking method on both mods. I then stumbled over another YouTuber who has the complete opposite take. So many choices, so little time ...

I've rewicked the Cleito within an inch of its life, so I think any leaks are now a thing of the past. I've used up pretty much all my cotton now, and got some more on order. Might try out some Nickel coils, but am a bit wary as some people are allergic to it. I don't think I am, but having suffered allergies in the past makes me hesitant.

Tonight will be DIY juice time, just need to find some suitable bottles. And my tweezers. Put them down somewhere and I can't find them for the life of me.

All I need now is a glass RDA so I can tell when I need to press the squonk bottle :).

I think for RTAs there isn't a single answer to if you need to wick hard or loose.

There's an optimal amount of cotton you want in the juice ports: too little and it floods, too much and it's dry (juice can't penetrate the wall of wick). There's only 'just right' for RTAs.

In that case you need to determine if the ID of your coil is too big where there's too much cotton in the juice ports (in which case you need to thin it out). For example, in something like a Serpent SMM or Kylin Mini, I used to use 3.5 ID coils. This was way too much cotton for the deck's juice ports. I had to thin out both.

In an RDA the question is more about whether you want to get juice quicker to the centre of your coil, or if you want to quickly fully saturate the ends. I think what's important in that problem is the distance between the centre of your coil and the well of the RDA. In something like a dead rabbit where the coil sits so high, you need it to wick to the top (tight). In something like a B2K, you flood the deck and the coil is so close to the well, that if you fully saturate the tips you fully saturate the wick near the coil.
