Let me restate it... is one better than the other ?
317L is higher grade and has slightly higher resistance. If you're not using it for TC, you probably won't notice much difference. It's like one wrap less to get the same resistance in most applications, basically.

No, there should be no difference at all.[/QUOTE

TY both for answering. I don’t use tc... yet. If I buy it to use now, and later move to tc, I’d rather have the right wire

FTFY

The old TCR wire chart, the higher the TCR value the better the TC functionality.

I'd stick with SS316L, SS430 is much better for TC but harder to find. Nobody uses Ni200 anymore and there are a few Titanium users around. ;)

AVS has excellent SS316L spools and premade coils.

I got my response stuck in the blooming quote:facepalm:
Click on edit, click on the top right of the window (the thing that looks like a piece of paper with an edge folded over) then move the "[/QUOTE]" tag to above your text and save changes.

Holy crap, just looked at Informed Delivery and my Vindicator got an upgrade. It's on the truck.
And now we dance!
Save your dance for when the truck actually stops at your house and the driver actually delivers the package and not a letter that says they didn't encounter you.
