Good question. "Smells like bull.... to me" - Cheborneck

I use SS430 in TC & power. I use 316L in my mechs.
SS430 has the highest TCR for SS and it's the lowest nickel content.
Higher TCR means more accurate TC.
I use Stainless Steel 430

316 is more common. I don't know why but personally I can't tell a difference. I very seldom play with tc though. @Eskie could might have more insight.

It sure is hard to find ss430 wire unless I want 100’ or clapton which I don’t.

I’d like to try it out. A jewelry site has it for $10 for 200 feet lol!! Seriously? I could open my own ss 430 site. Sell it by the meter.

If anyone finds some 27 ROUND ss430 please let me know

For me personally I find only 430ss doesn’t suit me in wattage mode.

Might try Kbee, they carry odd # wire.
