it's a great business model for the private seller
It's also a great way to pay an enormous fine or get a chance to pass some time in jail. Being a private seller or private manufacturer doesn't exempt you from any rules (eg TPD2 or FDA 2016).

Maybe if they made only one and sold that they could get away with it but making several of the same devices and selling them online most certainly won't fly if an investigator ever looks into that. Their biggest advantage is that they're kind of low key but they can't expect to stay unnoticed forever.

Won't be me to rat anyone out though, I really don't care what they do and I'm not salty to the point I can't stand them trying to make some money.
Just wouldn't be my way of doing things if I was to make a mod/atty.

My dad's a freemason. He doesn't talk about it much. They helped him when his job closed down and he had to relocate to a different city. It's a support system like a church would do I guess. But for the most part, just seems like old guys that want an excuse to spend an evening away from home playing poker and smoking cigars.

Coincidentally, when I was approached to join a different lodge than my father's, I was told there would be poker and cigars.
It's a little more than an old boys club with poker and cigars...

Brought the fur babies into the living room for a while, Mama is not pleased but has quit trying to move them. Kittens are very hard to get pictures of now that they play. Adorable watching them discover they have tails.

That's where it stops for me, I'm not gonna run after some guy to get the chance to s:censored::censored::censored:s just because he can't figure out how to computer or set up production.
Or like the Nar guys where you have to have people to "vouch" for you before they let you in. It reminds me of some playground s:censored: I left behind some 38 years ago

They can keep their stuff and enjoy their freemason club, I really don't need that for my happiness.
Hahahah, supposed to have two couches to get in the limelight group too. Not sure how I got in without the vouches, I just was BSing with the owner for awhile and he let me in.

Very much true, I think it's why my dad is still in it.

When he lost he job he moved from 1 hour outside Toronto, very suburban, to a little town 3 hours away with 1 restaurant, 1 gas station, and 1 set of lights. The place was small, the residents were redneck to say the least; and my dad as the only visible minority found the cultural adjustment a bit tough.

I remember they raffled a 60s mustang to raise money for kids. They also got a lot of money for support dogs. But the thing I remember most, one of the happiest times i've ever seen my dad, was when they organized a blood drive and put him in charge of cooking.

All these "little town" people hadn't had much exposure to "immigrant" food. He was loving sharing it, they were loving eating it, and from that moment on they adopted him as their immigrant guy. He was the china-man with the grill at the blood drive. One time I went down to visit him and a couple people had red marks on their backs. Apparently he introduced them to chinese suction cup therapy.

It was weird.

As was the jar of baby pickled crabs (in shell) I found in his pantry.

Newest mod in process. Engraved on the front is a picture a good friend had drawn over 40 years back. I happened to run across my print the other day, sent it to him and well, I must say, it brought a tear to my eye. My friend passed away close to 15 years ago. I think he would be proud.

Is he a maine ....? He’s gorgeous!
No, just a stray kitten from the neighborhood. Someone had thrown him over my fence into the yard, poor tiny little guy had a broken leg. I was just coming in from work and he limped over to me, scooped him up and he's been with me around 20y or so. He's all fur, actually a very small cat. Here's a picture of him in full winter coat.
