Havent done extensive field testing on it yet but so gar I love it crunchy threads and all. Finish is showing signs of wear too...

It has novice mode which is jusw VW. no Other adjustments at all. I found it much easier than the Swag but it does take some playing with. The joystick is stubby and feels solid, but time will tell. I looked on Yihi's website and they have the chip on the site but not available for purchase yet. The battery cover is crunchy but it is very secure when it's on there. I was a bit bummed about the finish on the black one. I don't know how the other colors hold up. That won't be an issue on the Carbon Fiber or stabwood models tho. I am really happpy with it despite these things.
It took a spill onto the asphalt and this is what happened

The more I see it the bigger and bulkier I find it. I'll keep the G class or the iJoy 20700 rather than this... Too big!

Again. If you can use an istick, get the Invoke. Same menus, 2 battery, same build quality!
I do have an original istick .Amazingly, it still charges up after all these years. Vaporesso is the only menu I just can’t make friends with. I still love my sx m class (aged though it is, but it’s a single or 18650 only), and my provaris.

I have an original iStick that still has that crazy 'flip-over' 510 adapter somewhere and it still works as well.

Go to minute 7:47 size comparison... It's really the best buy!

Does it appear like it would be difficult to take to bits and media blast the tube section?
It is designed to be disassembled. I will have to break out the torx wrenches to do it. I think it may look nice if the outer part of the pattern gets worn and the recessed Parts stay black. It looks shiny still where the paint has worn it would look sweet with shiny stainless where the black is.

I find it quite comfortable to hold. I have pretty big hands though. I really want a G Class. I want the Black Gold edition and it's out of my price range for now...

Sound advice. I’ve used electrical tape to mitigate door rattle on mods.

Apart from the Fostex T50 RP in your picture (if they are yours) what headphone you rockin’? Own Audeze LCD-2’s Sennheiser HD800 with the felt mod, Denon AHD-2000 and AHD-600, all with a Bryston BHA1 amp. Few IEM’s but currently only use the Shure SE846
The T50RPs are indeed mine, awesome orthodynamic for the price.

My main set is a pair of DT880 Pro's with DIY tinyXLR jacks and a Q Audio french silk cable.

I'm a Budget-Fi music lover stuck in Mid-Fi purgatory... ;)

I started the "Pictures of Your Budget-Fi" and "Mid-Fi Portable Rig" threads on Head-Fi. ;) I got tired of all the Jerry Harvey Roxanne/AK 380 rigs posted in the regular picture thread and the pages of gushing that went on about them. While perfectly good plebeian rigs were completely ignored or even snubbed, audio snobbery is quite the thing... :glare:

I had the LCD-3 pre fazor & Conductor SL on loan from Audeze/Burson for a month and loved them, well above my pay grade though. :(

A good friend from Head-Fi came to visit a couple of summers ago and brought his HD800S/WA6 combo down for me to hear. It was very enjoyable and the HD800S is amazing, but I'd still take a pair of LCD's or beyerdynamic T1 instead though.

Here is a list of headphone/IEM's that I have, all budget gear. ;)

@TrollDragon - WOW….thanks for sharing. Love those stands and have actually thought of building something similar myself. But rather keep my cans out of kitties reach…..she loves to chew on cables as my LCD have fallen victim. Nice collection you got there :thumb:

Thanks.
The dual stand was put together with PC-7 epoxy and the single stand was soldered. The PC-7 is a much cleaner way to attach the fittings, but has to be supported while it sets.
