I have one word, and one word only.

Why?

The old istick didn't have a spring loaded 510 and the threads were garbage and stripped out or completely pulled easily.
This was THE mod to have back then and eleaf made a bunch of silly accessories for it.
That adapter gave it a spring loaded 510, no more wear on the mods threads, and they had a holster that it tucked into when folded.

But no, I still don't truly know why, lol.
I think maybe they were selling you a thread saver, and by giving it another function they didn't have to admit the 510 on the mod was crap.

I bought a XvoStick back in 2015 with no regrets although this is different than the Microstick. I have dropped two mods since I started vaping in June of 2013 and it is still going strong — can’t say the same for the other one. Mine is a DNA40 and this works for my vaping style. And yes, Chels use to be on this forum back then.
I heard those are indestructable. I placed an order for an XvoStick with a DNA60 chip. It will be at least a month until it is made. I love the Microstick but I don't see much use for a 18350 mod for me. I will use the crap out of an 18650 tiny mod with a DNA Chip and RTA.

Nice song with good amp/headphones

You can't fault old receivers to deliver the goods.

The DT880s are one of the best bang for your buck neutral headphones and the Premium 250Ω versions are only $166 on Amazon these days. It's a deal that would be hard to pass up for anyone looking at open back neutral cans.

I have a lovely wooden rod, long enough to make it whistle. The cable chewing has stopped altogether after several warnings.

I’m a firm believer of Newton's 3rd law – For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. However, a common mistake from many is they neglect to read the fine print within said law where Newton himself explains this does not hold true with cats. For every action toward a cat, there can be an opposite reaction - but there is no law governing what that reaction will be…it could be 10x, 10000x even 1 million x more. Cats are not bound to the laws of physics as proven by the interwebz.

Given that I do not wish to become a victim of what that reaction my be when trying to teach my cat to not chew my cables, I feel the out of sight, out of mind method to be much more effective. :p

Should be an awesome mod! Do you have a Kayfun or Taifun to go on it?

True but my 40 year old Marantz receiver needs a recap at least. The detail is still there but it was getting light on bass when cranked. I saw this Yamaha integrated amp in AK Fall Frankenfest gear sale thread. Googled, researched (his posts on AK), messaged, wheeled, dealed, and settled on a fair trade.
He had replaced/upgraded all the caps & a couple of transistors and tweaked/untweaked a few things while he used it for a few years in his main system. It shouldn't need anything for at least 25 years as it is.
It blew me away when I got it home and replaced the M with it. So clean.
I'll decide what to do with the Marantz eventually. I couldn't give a FF about broadcast radio so integrated amp = receiver with less lights to burn out.
CD now playing

A recap on the Marantz would breath new life into it as well, I'm an apartment dweller so I have no experience with amps or speakers. ;)

Patience is your best friend with MINI e-cig. When I purchased the XvoStick, I waited a couple of months for production to complete however the situation could have improved. When the package finally shipped it went through JFK (MINI e-cig does not determine airport) and I am on the West Coast not to say it sat in Customs for a week. Packages that go through LAX or SFO, customs is much faster based on my experience. Hopefully your package will not be traveling around the holidays. Enjoy your’s as much as I do mine. The DNA60 was not a thing when I ordered.

Evening Shines,

@dom qp, I feel your pain. Stuff I had on fastrack order for today, is not due until tomorrow now. The really expensive shiny goodies. Meanwhile, all the kit on the slow delivery turned up today rather than tomorrow .

Hopefully the stuff due for Wednesday will turn up tomorrow now.

Flavorings, nic shots and salts, the missing SS wire and a standard Cleito tank to go with the rebuildable deck I ordered by mistake thinking it would fit my Cleito 120. And a few 30ml mixing bottles for good measure.

I am not in any hurry. The last posts about production were from last year. It may be a long time before they even start it so I should have an awesome surprise in the future DNA60 and 24mm capability was what closed the deal for me. I can see that being my EDC for a long long time.

Speaking of the Minikin 2, the slide touchscreen was really ticking me off. It took multiple attempts to open and even then it would open to the wrong menu. I actually put it away for a few weeks.

I just happened to stumble on a video by Asmodus showing in detail the correct way to slide the touchscreen so it opens. I also discovered that in Settings the slide function can be turned off & replaced by a 3 tap instead. PSYCHED!!

Ever since all is well in the world :D !

I'm going to pretend it's for heating eliquid so no :offtopic::D
First atomizer coil coated with ceramics and diamonds.

Maybe Mrs OG would also like some diamonds for xmas instead of another washing machine fiasco. I don't think there's a historic record of a lady complaining about being gifted diamonds

This win from Heaven Gifts arrived today:

JATpIkA.jpg

It's wearing my Doggy RTA as the included tank isn't within my MTL style.

It's a dual battery (series) mod with Power/Voltage/TC modes (and a "Flavor Mode" that doesn't seem to do anything but limit the wattage to 20 watts on my unit). Anyway, it seems to function well (with my limited testing) and seems sturdy enough, and the multi-color screen is easy to read.
