Got the Juggerknot mini built. Installed a k/ni80 Fralien 2.5mm .31 resistance. So far I'm impressed. Still trying to find the best dt for it.

UPS delivery in Canada is fine, I would never select UPS as an option to bring stuff in from out side of the country. Guaranteed whatever the package is, you are going to pay dearly for it.
Brought a $500 tube amplifier in from China, they ship via DHL and marked the value at $50. Less than 5 days from the order I had a Loomis guy at my door with the amp looking for $15 in brokerage and duty/taxes.
I smiled, slid him a 20 and said thanks keep the change!

Been dealing with insurance and pension companies the past little bit. Father passed away on Nov 6 due to COPD complications, he was a 3 PAD smoker when I was growing up. It was expected and just a waiting game every time he went into the hospital for his breathing.

Have to say the sites opting to go with the daily sale for specific gear is irritating me. Wouldn't be so bad if most of wasn't older gear already on clearance. I do understand the why but still not a fan.

Saw this posted on SPI, it looks quite interesting for a mesh deck. No idea who makes it or the name of it yet.
Always a compromise. You want a small, inexpensive selection where you may have to wait a month before receiving. Or a wider, little more expensive selection that will give you almost instant gratification. Sometimes benefits come at a cost.
