Good morning Shiny's.
Just plain cold and gray here this morning. On the other hand the grass is still green and George & Gracie are being very cute and entertaining so I'm pretty content atm.

got a weird thing with the gear rta. think i've heard something about it before.
after a while it stops wicking and dry hits but if i loosen the fill cap every 5 pulls it doesn't dry hit. something to do with pressure?

Have you tried after tightening down the top cap backing it up a bit? Worked for the Toptank with rba head installed .

Good morning shiners! Everyone in, well, most of the country be careful this week. Those temps and wind chills need to be taken really seriously. That is prep weather for sure. We're getting some cold on the east coast but nothing like what's going up hit you. There was one day last week we had the 4 degree -20 wind chill weather and walking one block my face felt frozen. If you have to go out keep blankets in your car in addition to the usual just in case you get into a worse case scenario.

eFun has the CoV Wraith on for $18. It works perfectly fine in VW mode, battery life is the suck. Don't even think about TC and the included RDA is useless, leave it in the box.

Other than all that, it's a great workshop squonker, all metal construction.

I got the same thing with the Ehpro True. It’ll run fine for a while, then vapor lock out of the blue, never just after filling, just random.

@Letitia 's tip working so far. it's odd. never had it with any rta. it's not like there's a vacuum in there.

Top cap would make sense. I have the same coil, but out of 5-6 refills, half have locked up mid tank. The True was initially pouring liquid out the af. That mysteriously stopped after the first couple of tanks, then the random vacuum started. I’ll pull it back out and put it on the Aegis. Don’t trust it (yet) not to empty. The Silverplays arrived, and True got shelved. Silverplay is airier with great flavor.

You really shouldn't have to burp a tiny RTA like the Gear... I say it's a wicking issue.
