It's a shiny Saturday here. The deep freeze is over and the vape mail has resumed.

Definitely going to need a bigger atty. All of my current favorites look comical on this guy. It really is about the girth.

    The most important question.....

Will he fit in your NutSac? ;)

The per capita income in my town is around $13,000. In that context, my vaping expenditures look much more extravagant.

A pack of cigarettes here is $20. If you add up how much you will save by not smoking - I bet you come out ahead.

Since I've been smoke-free for a year I've saved $7280 - which means I should buy at least one dani mini ;)

Agree, some people are just better with their hands than books. My husband was a smart guy, but he was genius with anything mechanical.

If a task was done with a tool, any tool, he had the talent to do it. My son takes after him to a degree, he trained as a machinist.

My daughter is more like me, bookish but a bit handy. This is a DIY kind of town, so most of us pick up skills along the way.

That’s a big part of why I’m hesitant to date again... I have high expectations, if a guy can’t tear my washer apart and get it going, I can’t even. I mean I can fix that myself, why would I need him?
I gotcha. It is hard to find a follow up to a good handy husband. My last one could fix everything from the pool pump to the A/C. Did expert tile work and could build like a professional carpenter. Worked hard and made good money. And a sweetheart on top of all that. How would I ever find a replacement? I knew I couldn't so I do not try. Boyfriends that followed only aggravated me with their lack of skills. I hire out :) for repairs not for other husband/boyfriend stuff ;)

Why, thank you! If I added up how much I've spent, I have a feeling shame would set in, but, as it is, I only regret the Sinuous P80 and the SX Mini SL. And I don't feel too bad about either, because the P80 was reasonably cheap and the SX Mini is a good mod; I just don't love it and wouldn't have spent so much on it if I'd known I wouldn't.
I had that shame a year or two ago. Now I mostly just stock up and replace.

Cigs here are about $7.50 a pack, and I was barely smoking when I started vaping, so that doesn't help much, either. No, I simply have to accept that I am indulging myself. I'm more bemused than distressed, anyway. I can't keep on at this rate, but, for now, I'm not too bothered.

Vaping is still more expensive than smoking, 100 bucks a month but smoking is around 50. So that's still tempting.

That's very little. It's about a junior professional's wage. Normal workers can be about 500 bucks here, but Baires is a big city and rent can be cheaper in the outskirts (I live in a middle class neighbourhood in the upper north, and own my home). That makes me feel rich!

Since I can't walk to the store these days, I wouldn't be getting cigarettes if I couldn't vape. Even when I could walk that far, I bought at most four packs every couple of weeks (often fewer and/or less often) and would generally get none in the winter. I can't use not smoking as a justification.

On the other hand, if it's true that nicotine is actively helping my brain stand up to MS, as studies suggest it might, the money is well spent. Besides, if nothing else, it perks me up, and that's very welcome.

    Evening all,

Iv'e been busy tonight. 5 new flavours, and some (semi-shiny) photos. Bets as to how long the Luxe will last after it's journey from the dining room table to the hard floor welcome.

I can now the join the tanks of junior Rayonatti.

My favour stash has grown a bit ...

If only I could touch up the dings on my Luxe as easily as you can re-touch images in photoshop ...

You know you have a serious dose of Shinyitis when your vape supplier sends you a New Year windfall FOC ...

I’m learning to hire stuff out. Hard to find reliable help. I dunno, I guess I’d rather be alone than put up with anyone who isn’t making my life easier. I raised my kids, I’m not raising anyone else’s.
