Would loading arctic fox help with chip efficiency?

Good question and excellent suggestion. :thumb: It’s entirely possible the Arctic Fox FW improves efficiency. I’ve never used it but quick glance it looks like there are battery profiles that can be customized.

have never dallied with it. also hadn't thought of it! might be able to fine tune settings but won't be able to make up for shortcomings with the hardware...unless the firmware helps at a really low level.
Now there's an option, I was looking at that earlier when i got the mod. Thank you :)
let us know how you get on.

That doesn’t bother me, I’d just use it as a pocket pod for short trips, like a dog walk. That would be sufficient. I think it’s pretty new so no reviews yet.

Dang it, I managed to talk myself out of the Orion and now this has to happen in my world! Gah! Free pods too!
My Orion sits next to the dog leash and I hang it around my neck like a nerd using the lanyard it came with. I did adjust mine via Escribe (something I was sure I would not be able to do and probably could not do again) I turned mine up 2 watts this way.

thanks though all a bit across the pond for me...even on ebay uk (£13 shipping). will keep eyes open.
.

Oops. Sorry. Didn't realize you were out of the US. I saw alba as your location and thought it was just a weird abbreviation for Alabama that only Alabamans use. That is considerably more expensive there even on eBay UK.

This is a case in which I would be proud to be labeled an enabler. It's a great mod. Plus, "labeled an enabler" is just plain fun to say.
been hankering after one for months but once the ardent came out...well, yes. loaded up the same page on vaping 101 tens of times recently. £59 which i don't think is bad. was tempted with the black coated one but really it had to be brass. 48 hour delivery (free over £50) so hopefully friday. 30Ts are charged and ready to go.

Can anyone tell me if loading Arctic Fox fw would in anyway decrease the functionality of the protection circuitry in the mod?
I've been running it on my Gen3 for a while with no issues. I can't really speak to increased efficiency but it certainly hasn't decreased.

I have a dilemma. I just picked up a Colossal to replace a mod that died. Now my ancient iStick 40 is hardly holding any charge so I need to get another new mod.

Narrowed it down to three. For around $30 I can get a Colossal or an iStick 40. Or $40 for an Aegis Mini. The iStick has a larger battery than the Aegis but I like the look of the Aegis and it would be nice to have something new. The Colossal is a good mod and it’s cheap. But I feel like having one internal battery mod in my collection.

I worry a bit about getting an iStick. My guess is they aren’t exactly flying off the shelves now so they might have been sitting around for a long time.

Anyone know a discount code for an Aegis Mini?

Oh man... I just spent 1457 bucks.... on my teeth. Like I went in to get my dentures fixed which was all I was expecting but the dude was SUPER unimpressed with my whole implant situation. He told me my male leads were coming out because, like, the bite was all messed up and they weren't "working" properly. I told him they were that way from the start.... So there was all this calling my oral surgeon, and finding out "lengths" (don't ask me) but basically, he stole BOTH my dentures to ah I guess figure out 'height" or whatever (I would make a poor dentist, I guess) and he's gonna get me all reattached properly for actually way less than my oral surgeon so I guess I was okay. I tried to wear my old lower denture which was BAD and hurt and I got to work went to put on more adhesive (it hurt a lot) and there was blood so I went " OH NO" and called out, since I have PTO now. NO point trying to damage ANOTHER temperamental implant.

Though it's nice to know there is some place I can go that can do it all and they were super low key and etc. My new dental insurance are such JERKS they pay NOTHING toward implants, it is as if those are regarded as for "expensive people" and I just want to freaking EAT. I mean, they will pay for a mouthful of teeth to be cleaned, but IMPLANTS (it's actually way easier and quicker) NcO no no no.

I might go complain to HR but maybe not just now. I have to pay 80 bucks for the privilege of having them cleaned when I NEED them. Aiie.

I would muse on the 1500 mod I could of bought bur t payed using "play" money out of HSA account I mean, I know it's coming out of my paycheck and all, and I shove a fair amount in there because well, t's useful for stuff like this, tax free and etc. But, it's still play money to me.

That's actually not much to fix all the problems I actually HAVE, they're kind of in depth. So I'm not complaining but I'm not going to work, either. Because frankly, I agree with the dude.. The affordable dentures dude was on his way out, and did not care a great deal about my bite. So, I have someplace to go that isn't sucktastic, isn't overpriced, etc.

But I'm staying home I took those "bad" dentures out. I will be back at work like 10 tomorrow with my own teeth and yay.

Soup for dinner. Oh well. I don't want to bleed everywhere at my job really.
