Oh man... I just spent 1457 bucks.... on my teeth.
...
That sucks. I have to take my mother to an oral surgeon Monday ... that'll be 400 bucks, considerably less than your bill, but still ... no mods for me for a while. (so I ordered a wrap for an existing mod ... we'll see how appeasing that turns out to be).

This is some sort of general dentistry practice though. But, I guess out in the sticks they do it all? He was young and seemed highly competent they all did actually.

I am afraid to say my (largely failed, but it is being fixed) implant situation cost 15K. Yes, I will repeat that. 15 K!!!! I ran out of money is like, what happened. Man. I paid 15k to STILL be using dental adhesive, several times a day.

LOL I hope he can match his 10% less promises. After paying FIFTEEN K for stuff, fifteen hundred bucks did not even phase me. I was like, "You can make this better? Okey dokey, etc."

It was a lot of money for a rather unfortunate outcome, honestly. But, he says he can fix it so I will let him try. LOL,.

I have 9 hanks of sock yarn to wind, that ought to keep me too busy to shop.

They can be wound without a swift but that’s a fiddly, tangly job. And the yarn store will do them too, but I can’t go in there without dropping $50-$100. Cheaper to buy the Swift lol.
I used chairs or my feet, in days of yore, when knitting was a passion.

That sounds like the first line of a mundane rhyming couplet.

the aegis mini is $26 on efun. that's pretty discounted. think @NolaMel linked to it a while back...edit... or it may have been @DeloresRose . apologies one and all. memory not sparkly at the moment.
Must’ve been @NolaMel because I’m sure I would’ve bought one for that price.

Yeah, I can manage with a chair with acrylic worsted, but merino fingering weight is another matter.

Which is more like the beginning of a limerick.

They still had it at that price the other day once you log in. With the “special us only, ok for battery” shipping option, I got it in two weeks. They ship it to their US warehouse who then puts it in the mail

I worked with heavier wool. Brown's Sheep Company had a mohair/wool blend that I loved.

I wish I could knit again. The half-finished Fair Isle cardigan and Aran sweater-turned-throw currently moping in the cedar chest to my right concur.

Efun top are great, I love them. I always try to qualify for the free UPS shipping when I can and it's lighting fast that way, but they do have consistently low prices and great specials, not sure how they do it. They also have good selection they are becoming a favorite vendor of mine.

Evening all.

Some ladies who worked with some wool,
All thought they were terribly cool,
But it all went quite wrong,
When discussing how long,
And the use of some specialist tool.

The jargon they used was insane,
To the worldly they caused mental pain,
For when you mention strange sheep,
You are in far too deep,
When digits are used in refrain.

I know this but a short tale,
And I know I am merely a male,
But the words you have used,
Have got me confused,
On this double entendre, I'll bail.

BTW, I love you all really and am just messing around. My inner poet couldn't resist. I definitely don't want to bring further curses on myself .

Omg I love it!!!

All of my hobbies come with their own weird Klingon kind of language. Nobody has any idea what I’m talking about when I discuss vaping, either. But if it makes ya feel better, a couple people in my sock knitting group had never heard of a swift.
