We just switched over from Direct TV. The Direct TV bill was $230 a month for a 4 bedroom house. We got Roku, Sling, Hulu, Netflix, Sony Crackle and a few other add ons. The bill is now $70 and the only thing missing is NFL's Sunday ticket. I wish we had done this sooner. It's actually better than cable!
does this include your Internet bill?

Now off to find a book I want to lend to aforementioned friend. Mrs OG has had a tidy up and denies all knowledge of the location. 30 minutes hunting should do it, but I'm not optimistic.
The only thing harder to find than something your spousal unit has "cleaned up" is something you've put "in a safe place".

378 shiny posts behind... I hope I missed something I REALLY wanted.

The punk on e battery mod still has me in its grip. I tried to set up my cube this week and I have a dead short. I brought it home. Sigh.

I have to "help the husband with laminate in the kitchen" and it sounds ominous and heavy. With that said we are moving in 42 days (12 of them effective days, I have taken PTO) and HOLY goodness. Although I am starting to think the husband MAY have a hope in hell of finishing the house more or less to completeness.

Kiddo is coming with truck to help us move!!! Yay.

No place to move to yet... I am not buying more shiny atm. This is fine. LOL.

I met my Douglas team this week and I really like them. I will have my OWN office with a window, OMG (this is cuz I will be doing therapy some afternoons) my boss made it happen, LOL. I think I am going to be SUPER happy like, ah, 44 days from now. In between, maybe not so much.

My problem isnt my nails but depending on if my ms is acting up or my meds are making me tremble it can make building just about impossible. That’s why I try to do as much as I can on a good day. Otherwise I’m poop out of luck!!
I'm amazed that you build with MS. My fingers are so numb and clumsy and my vision so wonky, I decided not even to try.

Morning all
Glad I slept in, freezing rain/snow all day.

The hand mixers I have do very well up to 100ml, adequate but slower up to 240ml. Not much use beyond that. If I go bigger I mix and shake in a condiment bottle then transfer to glass. I generally do 10ml, 30ml, 60ml; all kept in plastic. Generally mix in beakers for the wide mouth and stability.
I'm waiting on those days to catch up with the PS4. Bought games for Christmas that I haven't opened yet, the weather being too lovely to stay in.

@stols001 as in laminate floor? The boxes are sort of heavy, but it’s not too hard a job. My husband and I did our whole upstairs when we found some on sale. 3 bedrooms and the hall. The closets were kind of a drag, and one of the doorways gave us hell.

Great idea dear! It's dirt cheap and quite effective, although the plunging action could be a little tiresome for some people.
Yeah, that can be hard on a bum shoulder, too. I will ponder a while before I proceed.

Im so sorry to hear that Zazie :( I never know when I wake up how much I’ll be able to do or how bad the pain will be. Sometimes I can go for days sometimes weeks where it’s well “controlled” then out of the blue all hell breaks lose. That’s why I like to build as much as I can when I can then I can just rewick as needed.

My vision isnt great either(mostly age related) but when 1 first started building someone was kind enough to recommend those magnifying glasses that have LED light on the front. It can really make an incredible difference in my frustration levels lol!!!l

This looks like the one I got. My roommate laughs at me and calls me the coal miners daughter lol!! But it works!!

Ah, yes. The wonders of MS. Always keeps you guessing. Such fun.

I'm sorry you're in so much pain. I've been fairly lucky in that regard. So far, anyway. Knock wood etc.
