I used to carry all my husband’s excess cargo. Plus side is, I got a new bag whenever I wanted.

He’d complain because I don’t do cheap handbags- I’m a Dooney girl, and I know lots cost several times as much as those, but they’re a luxury in my neck of the woods- until I saw how much the saddle bags for his bike cost!
Good handbags aren't a luxury but an investment. I've had some bags last me 15 years +, more than doubled the investment. Nowadays I keep basically Hobos, lightweight totes and crossbody bags. And although they are expensive, I love Louis Vuitton canvas for rainy weather.

If you want to improve your French you should check this one out. It's a bilingual movie.

This scene has my favourite punch line in pretty much all French movies.

You can skip to 3 minutes.

"Appelle-moi pas Michel" x 2?

I used to be able to understand all spoken French, but nowadays I need subs for backup for everything but Parisian French, and even that can't be too slangy.

I'm a pretty big fan of man bags. My girl gives me crap regularly about my obsession with well organized high quality leather men's accessories. I've never liked carrying a wallet, so I do the money clip and card case thing instead. I dunno, something about a bulging dad wallet jammed into a back pocket just makes me cringe. A good bag helps me avoid that phone, vape, keys, wallet juggling act. There's no hope for me, so I've just accepted it.

Keeping your wallet in the back pocket gives you lumbar pain. Oscar couldn't belive it, and nowadays sports a clip in his front pocket and his knife. Yeah, it became a serious issue.

Happy shiny week for me :). Blue double barrel v3 came last night, backup Fresia and a pile of replacement bubble tanks came today, Flint and Cube are slated for Friday delivery. Two more litres of nic just shipped. I have more than enough for me, but if I have to mix for my son in law, I need to up the stash. With a young baby, I need to keep him off the stinkies. Mint or tobacco isn’t going to cut it for him.

I had my dad sized wallet in my back pocket every day from 14 to mid 20s. I started getting really bad back pain and couldn't walk sometimes.

Now I still keep it in the back pocket, but when I sit down I either put it in my car console, on my desk, or on the table. Made a HUGE difference.

I think it's mostly aesthetic for me. Unsightly bulges breaking the otherwise clean lines on your fitted trousers, etc. Same deal with cargo pants. I could never make myself wear them. Had some fun with my friends constantly asking what they were keeping in those side pockets, though. "What's in there?"

I ordered the MBD because I can't find cargo pants I like anymore and the ones I have are getting past their prime, and I have stuff to carry ... I mean, I could break out the fanny pack and be an embarrassment to everyone around me (except me, I don't care).

I'm venting because I am upset..

Two days ago a girl at my husbands work hit my husband's car as he was pulling into the parking lot of his job. She said at the time she dropped something on the floorboard of her car and retrieved it, and by the time she looked at where she was going it was too late to stop so she hit my husband.

She hit an older Jeep Cherokee Sport in a newer car, so her car did this whole folding thing and our jeep had no appreciable damage.

The cops were called, and the officer who showed up said he had no jurisdiction over a private parking lot, and recommended they fill out exchange of information forms but pay for their own car repairs since the police didn't have jurisdiction to declare fault in a private parking lot.

My husband went on his merry way thinking the matter settled as they agreed with the cop to pay for their own repairs. (we have damage to a brake, but that seems like all the damage we've incurred and we didn't mind fixing it since the girl is an employee)

We got a call this afternoon from our insurance company, and this girl is trying to get our insurance to pay for her damages and apparently she is trying to tell them she has been physically injured too (even though when she was at work yesterday she had no such injuries) and trying to get money for that..

its like WTH????????????

Wow, just wow. I mean, she isn't looking at the road while her foot is on the gas peddle of a car, wrecks it, and is trying to get someone else to pay not just for her cars damages, but a pain and suffering bonus for being stupid enough to wreck.

this is the height of not taking responsibility for your actions, the height of all the greed that is wrong with people today and the reason why insurance premiums are so darn high..

@Opinionated your ins co laughed in her face, I hope?

no they spoke to my husband and are wanting him to draw a diagram of where the cars were etc. as well as talk to the police officer.

I'm sure they will get there... but it's not as simple as just saying no, they have to investigate the claim.

And I'm worried our premiums will go up regardless, we just can't afford higher premiums and some companies look for any reason to hike prices on you..

So, when they tell her no I hope they tell her to stick it where the sun don't shine in a very not so nice way, because I'm fairly certain this little stunt is coming our of our pockets no matter the outcome, and that makes me upset.

You shouldn't see a hike if you don't file a claim. I'm sure your company will settle it without any fault on your side. I got rear ended by a Subaru wagon in stop and go freeway traffic. Completely messed up her front end and left nothing but a smudge on the bumper of my RR HSE. It was laughable when she tried to file a claim. I did the diagram thing and that was that. Clearly the fault of the other party. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Well that's good to know..

truly it is.. I've never had an accident but all you hear are nightmare stories about premiums going up even if it's not your fault so I've been worried..

Thanks for sharing that..
