Flavor is less intense than on the Profile rda, but still very good. My first round of wicking didn’t do well with 80vg. I re-wicked and cut away LOTS of cotton. Seems fine now, no dry hits using wotofo mesh @ 55 watts.
I'm not fond of fiddly tanks. I don't think I'll be getting one. I liked the Mesh 24 better, although the wicking was difficult.
I still think that the upright cotton like the Ctulhu Iris is the way to go.

Thanks! :thumb:

I’m a big fan of the Profile RDA but have taken a step back with squonkers given the many proprietary bottles of unknown quality. Don’t mind dripping but there are days where it becomes a royal PIA – so think the Unity would make a nice alternative. They should be hitting Canadian shores (stores) any day now.

*** I’m using wotofo mesh, not the included nexmesh, so I cant say anything about it with the latter.

I have a lifetime supply of the NeXMESH – cleaned out a stores stock during the holiday sales. Also have some Vandy Vape SS316 Mesh spools so plan on trying the Unity in TC or Replay. But big fan of the NeXMESH

I Used Way Too much in the beginning. Argh, I'm off to deal with the shed. Mainly because I will then have about an hour left to relax prior to returning to Sierra Vista and I can chill.

I must say this back and forth thing has gotten old. If only I did not have an exquisite understanding of like, what comes in between (remediation) I would be so psyched!

Lately I've been having a lot of trouble with my "fingerprint recognition" on my phone, and I checked and it's because I don't really HAVE any. And I have just been getting STARTED with the caustic cleaners. Sigh. I might wear a MASK this time, since I'm like the ex vaper with the delicate post almost COPD lungs.... But if you are using elbow grease, you need to FEEL it (the dirt I mean, gloves don't work.)

The ideal time to commit a crime appears to be coming up but you know they ALWAYS get you now on DNA evidence or whatnot.

So after a few bargains end of the week and a new phone for my daughter, you'd think I was done, right? Rhetorical question.

Closed it out with some bargain basement MyVpro stuff. They had an Iconic rda for $10, and I'm a sucker for bottom air rdas, so why not. They also had a Pulse BF mech for $20, and replacement color doors for $0.99. Eh, why not.

Add in some extra 40T 21700 batteries and wraps from IMR and that's it, I'm done for the weekend. But I can honestly say everything I bought the last few days was on sale. Except the batteries, but they were only $9.99. Granted they were $9.49 at Illum, but the shipping was $0.50 more, so a wash. And I like IMR and it includes a free case per two batteries. Can't have too many battery cases.

If only there wasn't another weekend in 5 days.

I am taking my rayon and all my coils with me, I thought I was nuts at first but then he said, about my vapecloset "You realize you will not have access to that for several weeks, right?"

It's the principle of the thing. It's not as if I could not get more.

The husband got a stern talking to about the shed. He was all like, waving the hand around like "Your therapy stuff is here" as if it were NOT wedged between, on top of and beside his hoarding collection of like electronics that he BROUGHT WITH him some of from the East Coast that is worth like, 30 bucks to a foundry.

I just found all the expensive stuff and secured it and then told him he could get rid of most of it, but there are a couple things he MIGHT want to set aside for me.

LOLZ, it is HIS anniversary today, 21 years! Trust me, I didn't plan for our sobriety anniversaries to fall oh, 2 days and 17 years apart, but that is how it happened. I don't think he was a big fan either (of the opiate relapsing part anyway!) but so it has happened.

This means we get some "intimate" time prior to my leaving. Trust me, we played the "I'm not to tired-- are you too tired?" game for quite some time, but that is how it goes sometimes. Nakedness does seem to cure fatigue. If we were all nudists this planet might have a chance, and by that I mean.... There are certain folks who are OVER consuming resources, and UNDER consuming Hard Labor and those folks we might put on a soylent diet and end world hunger as we know it today.

1 meter of rayon lasted me 6 months. Granted, I don't wick everything every week, and sometimes use cotton bacon like during the summer. Seems that cotton wicks a little slower with high temps and pressure.

All I'm going to say about the other RDA thread is: Such a bunch or .......

Let me tell you a story that to some might seem preposterous but illustrates much about how much I hate those "closed buying clubs"

My mom loved handbags. By her 50s she had a quite large collection and loved them. For her 25th wedding anniversary my dad decided to buy her an Hermes Bollide. An expensive bag back in the day, more so now. He was well known in Hermes NYC because he travelled often and although not a multi million millionaire he was well off. Hermes is known for having databases on their clients, although I never exactly knew how much. He often bought my mother some lovely scarves that my mother collected for years. After she passed I inherited her collection and at age 25 I was quite well economically. Back then I bought a Hermes Birkin to use as a tote for books and travelling, those days every month. Time went by, sold the Birkin, and in the 2000 when Hermes arrived in Buenos Aires I was set to get me some more scarves to the collection. One day I took the Bollide for cleaning and resurfacing and I have to admit, most probably they pulled out my father's file. With me came my then boyfriend Gustavo, a quite well known musician from Argentina. All done, a few months later Gustavo was in NYC and stepped onto Hermes to get me a scarf, like he usually did.
Hermes for the past years due to the enormous demand has waiting lists for their two most iconic bags: The Birkin and the Kelly. If you want one you can be on a waiting list of almost 2 years, and an episode of Sex and the City reflected on that.
Gustavo goes that day to the 5th Ave. Hermes store and is told (literal)
"Do you know if DrZ would like a Kelly bag? She's never owned one, and this style would suit her lifestyle perfectly". He was shown the Kelly Lakis, an EXTREMELY limited edition of the great icon. So he phoned me, and after giving it exactly 3 miliseconds of thought I said YES, BUY IT. Mind you, it's not your regular change, but Gustavo had played on Broadway to a full theater 3 days in a row. They knew exactly what he could afford.
When he walked away with the bag, I told him jokingly "Man, now you've really reached superstar status".
Gustavo passed away from a stroke in 2014, but he's still loved and missed.
Do you want this to happen to vaping? Really????

I don't get it.. I really don't.

Your upset that you grew up rich and able to afford things the majority of us couldn't even consider?

Am I supposed to feel sorry for you?

Or am I supposed to think handbags should be less expensive?

I don't care about the cost of scarves and handbags, and I dont care about high end vape gear either.

My first AND second year of vaping I spent 335 dollars per year, on batteries, juice and everything I needed to vape. I spent far less last year.

Vaping isn't a rich person only game.. It's a stop smoking game.. you can spend what you like on it, a lot or a little.

I don't have it in me to be offended about how the other half lives.

My husband didn't have electricity, running water or indoor plumbing when he grew up.. I'm just not into caring about the same things you do - obviously.

no way this can happen to vaping. There will always be mass produced products.
Those that produce a few are entitled to sell them as they please. I make jewelry. I sell it at little boutique stores nearby. If I wanted to NOT SELL to a particular store that is my right. If I wanted to have a lottery where numbers were drawn to buy my stuff, that is my right. Free market. And yes Hermes will tell the average Joe that walks in that they must wait. They do not have the sort of store where one can "handle the goods" this is the reason for getting acquainted with a sales associate. So you get 'the call' when new stuff arrives. We are talking the difference in thousand dollar bags and 200 mods. Let them have their exclusive clubs. Who has time for it anyway when you can buy a great AsMODus or Hex ohm? Every area, no matter how small and inconsequential others may think it is, has their followers.

I see the point but not concur.
If there's something great and you can buy it, why go through the loops like a trained monkey?
I refuse to be trained.

Again... Told you before... Not the cost but the exclusivity and closed nature of the thing that drives me mad.

I remember when I bought the Vicious Ant Spade. I could well afford it, but went round and round for months, my husband would say "buy it! If something happens to it, it's fate and there's nothing you can do about it". I waited for the one I liked, and simply bought it. No exclusivity. No hoops to jump. Just wait for the right one.

It is great! Thing is it's difficult to get colors and the sort because they're completely random. I think GrimmGreen reviewed it early 2017?

Hey all.

ji5RjzS.jpg

A little Sunday Cereal Science. Not much in the way of shiny for me aside from the boatload of juice I have arriving tomorrow. Gonna load up the cleaner with funky RDAs and tanks today in anticipation.
Where do you get the clear doors? Can't find them on the site, only frosted.

Some of us wait and see what owners think of their mods after some time in use, to make sure we are making a solid purchase..

What Grimm Green or any other youtuber thinks is meaningless to me..

You buy your way. I'll buy mine.

Take care...

Makes you think. Not sure what I would buy if I had unlimited money. I've seen a few mods that made me drool, just by their appearance. Tanks are a bit different. I might have tried some authentic Kayfuns rather than $10 KFL clones.

Some people on ECF buy everything that comes out. They can afford it and they enjoy it so good for them. And they can report back to the rest of us.

I've got a vast collection of 8 Provari 2.5's. Spent years getting them together. If I could have bought one of every model and color without thinking about the cost I don't think I would have got half as much pleasure out of having them.

I've heard about those exclusive FB groups but never visited one. You would have to put a gun to my head to get me in there.

There were a couple of short periods in my life when I was single and raking in the money, like being a software guy in the last couple of years before Y2K. Even then I couldn't shake the habit of being frugal though. Or maybe it was the 80 hour weeks. Now I'm retired on a fixed income so I guess a lifetime of frugal was good training. And I've got enough KFL's to last through my next couple of lifetimes.
