Evening all,

Haven't caught up yet, but here is today's additions. The lost Wasp cap is now finally restored.

So shiny items sell better on Ebay then on the classy's here? Not a nibble and I think I have them priced fair. Someone else sold a lost vape recently. May I ask where?

You just have a case of bad timing. Had you posted on Tuesday it would have been gone 5 minutes later.

However, often when I think to myself I'll buy something that's for sale if it's still available on payday, then it's almost always gone by payday.

Probably just a slow week. :)

Frugal is always good. Wasteful spending is gross. I retired two years before I planned to (at 58). Money is not a problem but I still balk at buying a dinner out when I can eat at home (unless it is a social occasion) and both my grandson and my daughter know when we do go out to eat please order water with your meal. I stock pile and haul away my own recyclables because I do not want to pay the $35 a month to have them picked up. My mom also was raised without running water and plumbing and she taught me well. You just never know what is ahead.
This got me thinking all night long.
I'm not going to excuse myself for having a great job or partnering with someone that made it big.
On the other hand, when the s*** hits the fan, nothing shields you. Gustavo's stroke put him in a coma for 4 years. The total cost of hospitalization, extended care and of course our own living came out to 2.3 million dollars. Our home went, most of my jewelry, and of course my handbag. By the time 2014 rolled by and I had my heart attack I was living at my dad's, Gustavo's kids with their grandmother and I was at the end of my rope. He passed away Sept 2014 but I couldn't work for 3 more years, so bad I had it.
If your thing is pinching pennies instead of investing in durable goods that can render you serious money when it a stroke like that, think twice. Saving just money is not enough in this world. Sometimes, some things are real investments.
The bag reached 12300 bucks on a Christie's auction, 30% more of what had cost in 2007. But the memory of that tall, handsome man in the prime of his life and the realization that he finally had hit it big, is something nothing will ever take away from me. As the spanish saying goes "Quien te quita lo bailado?" (who takes away the memories).
Money comes and goes. You need to know how to put it to good use.

Been feeding mini kitty (Abby) what we call anlamb - it's milk powder formula for anything from a lamb to a horse to a kitten. We had some left over from lambing.

Anyways, I've been mixing it up in one of my recycled milk containers. Today I filled up my espresso steamer cup, put the milk away, and realised I'd used Abby's anlamb

I doubt it would've made the worlds best flat white  Since storing it in a different part of the fridge didn't work, it now has big letters all over the container, so I hopefully won't repeat that idiot move again.

Pity party over, resume your shininess

I'm in your pity party too as I really wanna know what you think of it! Better get here tomorrow

I got vapemail - nicotine and flavours (purilum raspberry that is gonna get a 10 minute steep when it's mixed) ;)

Forgot: here's my newest Himalayan salt lamp

And yep, those mods got knocked over ;)

Purilum raspberry shines brighter with a steep, one of my favorite raspberries. Word of caution, it gets stronger with time and can take over at 3%. That's a good percentage for a small batch though. Stands up beautifully with heavy creams.

Cats don’t have their babies all at once?
Usually after the first one the others won't come along for a couple hours or more, then the rest come a little closer together. From my experience this has been a longer process but have heard about others going through the same. The two are robust so I'm hopeful that the rest and June are doing okay. #2 is particularly loud until it latches on to a teet, figure that one is male. Should have heard it when she got up to eat the chicken I brought in to her. Hilariously adorable temper tantrum from a hour old fur baby.

Damnit, I had a feeling and was trying to ignore flavour notes that it was a steeper

I'd settled on 3% in a cream mix. How many days do I hide and steep it?

It's nature ... sometimes they'll pop'em out like softballs from the pitching machine at the batting cages on a warm summer night, sometimes it's more like T-ball and the ball is tee'd up but the players are huddled in the dugouts on account of rain.

Cute pic! Don’t let the kitten lick it though because i believe it’s toxic to pets.

Okay in 10 days, enough to tell if you'll like it. Just keeps getting better, about 4w is where I like it. I'll mix 90ml 2.3% with creams, cheesecakes, pull off 15ml to vape and forget the rest for a few weeks. With straight fruit mixes 1-3% depending on where I want the raspberry to sit., week is usually enough for those. I would do a pairing with your boysenberry. The Purilum is bright and not candy sweet imo.

Did momma June have the rest of the kittens yet??
