Good Morning shinies ... well it started good, but went downhill fast ...

Sipping my first coffee of the morning and happily vaping some light menthol earlier today when I heard my Mom (she has dementia) get up and start rummaging around her room. Usually that means she'll start pulling out all the clothes from drawers and closet until I stop her. However, this time I heard plastic rustling and figured I'd better get in there right away and see what she was into ...

She had emptied a small plastic bag that held some christmas cards and other bits of paper and such that she wants to save, and she had put the bag on her head like a hat ... the plastic bag was actually just large enough to pull right down over her head, which she then proceeded to do like she suddenly thought she was putting on a turtle-neck sweater, except this didn't have a hole at the other end for her head to go through. AACCKK! If you're thinking she probably would have been fine and just pulled it back off, you haven't seen her panic trying to get out of her nightgown. Anyway, crisis averted, but bleeping bleep bleep!

It seems some additional Mom-proofing is in order. But for now, more coffee ... and vaping ... good thing there's no JD in the place cause it's kinda early for that ...

Wow, that's stressful but at least you've unburdened yourself about it which is always good. You're obviously doing a great thing looking after her but I know it's a very difficult disease to deal with .....Chin up :)

I'm sure @Punk In Drublic has multiple sets as well. I'm guessing @TrollDragon too. Along with MissionXV and QP Designs, BB Vapes is (in my opinion) one of the crown jewels of the Canadian vaping industry.
Yes indeed! I have 3 full sets and 2 extra decks with a few top caps. :toast:

I’m in the middle of a three way text thing with my sis and sil about my mom’s medicine. When she takes them, she stays fairly clear. She forgets who we are and what are names are, and what day it is ( keeps talking about when to gwtthe Christmas decor out, but also wants to go buy flowers to plant).

When she misses a pill, she is talking to my dad who died 55 years ago, and upset about getting my 60 year old brother on the school bus.

It’s hard. She’s still living in her own apartment. She doesn’t want to go into a nursing home, but if we can’t keep her up on her pills, she’s going to have to. It just won’t be safe. She’s already flooded the apartment and set the microwave on fire.

That must he do hard for you and your family. It's a terrible illness and so hard to know what the tight thing to do is. I'm glad you were there for the plastic bag. The ultimate nightmare scenario.

I got awesome vapemail today :

View attachment 806109

After making a smartass comment about not having a bucket of drip tips like @DPLongo22 's ;) - he, along with @Katdarling went through their collections to find zenith tank drip tips - which I have a fixation with

They then mailed them, all the way to me in NZ  And refused to let me pay for the postage

I got them today :D

To two very generous vapers - thank you
They are 2 very special people that I've grown to love and respect. The great thing about them is you always get a double dose of love from them because where you find one you find the other. That also gives you twice the love for them two.
Congrats on the tips.

I'm just not sure how long my tails need to be. Whether I want them dragging on the floor of the deck, or tucked into the wick channel and not touching the deck.
Lined with the bottom of the build deck not touching the base.

Thanks for the tip, it's much appreciated. I did mess up ordering my flat wire, I got the .3 and .4 when I should have gotten the .8. I sat hear bewildered while placing the order and decided to play catch the tiger by the toe. I picked wrong..lol
I went to AVS to see this kit and stumbled onto a video showing how to heat SS wire. I am ashamed to say I have been dry burning it wrong and must have burnt my coils a time or two. Now I know how to do it right.

They have a couple “That’s what I paid for my house!” priced guitars. I love it when they send me an email that links to one. I’m really in love with the Hummingbirds though, and this one, which in comparison, is almost free lol.

And purple probably is the wiser choice. They have a purple bunker that would go nicely with it. Hard to find green atties, black would work though.

My mom found her high school year book from 1949. What a blast. Almost everyone in her class signed it, and most of the teachers and staff did too. Everyone said ‘To a swell gal’. It was adorable! I could pick her out in all the group shots because she was the tiniest person, and she looked like hell on wheels. Smiling and sweet, but 100% mischievous.
Cute. My dad signed my moms yearbook "Hey sweetie remember the night we went to the drive in movie, we sure did not see much of the movie did we? Signed your Drive In Man, Don." We all teased my dad forever about that one.

Just noticed this. Vaping has made it to the large sponsorship of Formula 1. Vype on the orange McLaren F1

I own a Vype pod….was a drunken impulse buy at a variety store one night on my way home from the pub. It’s not a bad vape. Hopefully it does not go up in a sparking fury like this McLaren.

Wouldn't it be better for Vype if they weren't throwing up a shower of sparks like that? Might make folks vaping isn't safe or something.

LOL…valid point. The McLaren took damage to its front wing at this point of the race, hence dragging it along. Thought the effect made for a more interesting picture.

I watched both the qualifying and race this past weekend but didn’t notice the Vype sponsorship till now. Might have been a one off sponsorship, those spots usually have 7-Eleven branding. Or perhaps 7-Eleven didn’t sell enough big gulps and couldn’t pay the bill!

The Profile Unity has finally arrived! Like all my atomizers, it received a nice relaxing bubble bath, with a glass of wine, some scented candles and soft jazz playing in the background prior to use. Gotta get em clean and break them in gently! But credit to Wotofo, there was no machine oil smell or unknown greasy’s on the atty!

Rolled a OFRF mesh strip, wicked it up (as per the instructions) and filled it full of juice. Little leaking after filling it up but no leaks since. Chain vaped through half a tank (slightly buzzed now) and no dry hits! Bonus!! Flavour is on par with the Profile RDA – using the smaller 3.5ml glass so not sure if the 5ml extension will affect this or not.

Initial impression….super pleased with it’s performance so far, but will give it a longer term test before I decide on purchasing another.

Update on the Unity. Motored through the first tank, no dry hits. Filled er up, screwed on the top cap and again it leaked but also flooded the deck. Obviously she’s leaking under pressure. Not a lot, just a few drops out the air flow, but something to be noted. Will have to figure that out. No leaking afterwards and no dry hits which was my biggest concern.
