I will catch snakes, alligators, spiders, possums, rats, mice... pretty much everything.

But if I see a roach in the house I can't go in that room until my wife proves to me that she's killed it. My kids know if they see one not to tell daddy. I can't explain it, just sitting here talking about them makes me shudder.

Cockroaches are the most disgusting bugs alive!

I am feeling much better about where I live now... no bears, no rats, no roaches. The most dangerous animal here is deer, but they are not at all scary. And the scariest is spiders, but they’re not at all dangerous.

I have mostly little woodland creatures, raccoon, opossum (found a six pack of babies in the garden once, cute little rascals) squirrels and chipmunks. Once in a while, I’ll see a coyote trot down the sidewalk at night.

Where do you live Delores Rose? Sounds idyllic!

The geniuses over at Evolv have made several comments that TC benefits more from a simple wire. Not that complex coils can’t be used, just that they add another layer of complexity. Wire that also employs a higher TCR value, Ti, and Nickel for example, are also easier to setup and dial in. Unfortunately they also come with their own set of challenges and concerns.

Having a tool such as Escribe that allows you to see, in real time, how the coil is performing is a huge asset. Setting up TC becomes that much more easier, assuming you understand what you are looking at. Unfortunately, one needs to subscribe to a dna device in order to get such tools.

I’ve been using ss430 lately and it works wonderful in tc because of its higher TCR of 138. I’m not sure why it’s not popular and easier to find.

Good question. IDK. My understanding is that it is not as widely used in other industries in comparison to the more popular SS grades we use to vape. Less fabricators means less wire being made.

Yes. I have them on mine. You just need to be careful because on some clone models the magnets aren't glued in on the same sides as an authentic (i.e. upside down). I have the DNA60 version, and one of the more recent ones; the magnets are in the same position as the authentic so I can use any replaceable doors.
where do you get them?

Unkamen has 200' rolls of SS430 for $10, it's only 28ga though but can be twisted together for bigger builds.
28 gauge Stainless Steel Wire - 430 Grade Nickel Free - 200 feet - 100% Guarantee - Creating Unkamen

I've run it in single, double and triple twist perfectly in TC.

If you are looking for other gauges then Zivipf out of Germany has a good selection and fast/reasonable shipping.

Despite my own deep dislike, I must say I find Cicadas far more disturbing when they come out of the ground for their every what, 10 year mating cycle? The shells are really hard, and they fly, but not well as they've been living in the ground for years, so they're clumsy and fly right into walls and windows. They sound like someone tossed a small rock. As for stepping on them, well, steel toed boots are the method of choice. For the sake of the sensitive stomach crowd, I warned you.

And they are noisy buggers as well. But what a life. Sleep for 99.9% of it, wake up, have sex and then die with a smile!
