I am thinking about getting into DIY. I was looking at the DIY kit at Nicotine River, and they have a couple of options when it comes to choosing flavor manufacturers. Is one considered better than the other, or are they pretty much the same across the board?
IncorrigibleIt's pretty unique and simple to dial in. The barrel has an outer ring you turn for adjustment. The top cap is threaded, so you tighten down the cap to secure the outer ring when you have it set the way you like. Readjusting is just as simple. Also, since the barrel is in two pieces, you can mix and match colors for a two tone look. Kent has lots of different colors on his site - twistedmesses.com - so you can buy different AFC rings or mix colors if you have multiple RDAs like so...
Lots of options. The Eclipse caps in delrin, ultem and PCTG are great too. Oh, also the TM24 and TM24 Pro accessories are interchangeable.
Cheaper to not go the kit route for supplies. See if any of these recipes appeal to you and order the full pack of flavors. You'll have enough flavoring left over to do other recipes as well. Best flavor vendor imo.

With my water species I am running about a 95% success rate. It's my 2nd year with my desert species and it's been pretty bad because I had trouble with humidity last year. I breed primarily diamondback terrapins, southern black knobs, ringed back maps, and yellow blotched maps.

Don't get the kit. There is nothing wrong with nic river at all but the kit isn't a good way to spend your money.
I got ALL my syringes at Walmart the pharmacist will give you them for free. I would go from store to store or wait a bit in between it's a bit awkward when you like ask for them in multiples of ten. The ask you stuff then, probably.
You don't need to pay a ONE million dollar markup for like some plastic gloves, either. I don't even use mine and Sally's has em for cheaper if YOU must get them. You can pick up some rayon as well.
Clothes. Washing. I am way ahead of the game (provided I can find some snus in Douglas) and next step will be cleaning me and going to Walmart. Which is 8 minutes away. I love this town other than the snus situation but I am ordering some from Sweden today I HAVE to so I only need like five days worth. Etc.

Interesting choices you've gone for buddy. The Spheroid V4 I totally get and that's a real favourite of mine. Was so much better before I trashed the Piccolo that went with it, perfect for a discrete stealth vape. Cosmonaut RDA is another strange choice, cool design but doesn't exactly excel, nice engravings mind you. As for the Rose3... well it may be heresy to say but that is one of the few tanks where I prefer the SXK clone version to the original. Why you wonder... stupid spring airflow that often falls out and you end up combing the carpet for. I have other issues with it too... Rose V2 is far better.
The CSMT was on the list purely for aesthetics, it's a nice looking RDA. I have a tobeco Rose V2 that I still use on occasion with salts these days, amazing flavor RTA. I figured the V3 might have been better, an improved V2 with updated airflow etc but I guess that's not always the case. I tried syringes first, but found it so much quicker with a scale - you don't need to take the nozzles off flavouring bottles, just squirt (into your bottle or cylinder) hit tare, squirt in the next ingredient etc

Just less pocket friendly, easier to dump when working. It’s small, but tall. Very battery efficient to me, but for the form factor, I might as well take a tube/Provari.
