Ive had good luck w Seroqel except I had to stop taking it due to restless leg syndrome side effect besides the 40 lbs I gained.

Lamictal has been working well since then. Not as good as the Seroquel but no side effects.

Crazymeds.org used to have an interesting piece on lamictal. It’s got easily some of the weirdest side effects in medicine. Athletes foot, yeast infections and hangnails. I kid you not. If it works it works great though.

In the stocking up thread the same thing used to happen, post a good sale and in minutes they'd be sold out.. You bought all you wanted before posting or you were SOL..

Lithium eats your kidneys, not your liver. It is one of the few medications that is processed by your kidneys not your liver.

However, it is a rough med, but dosing is important. I did not gain a jillion pounds, but I will say the teeth thing (actually as rare as hens teeth) and the fine motor tremor suck.

It's just that being slightly hypomanic half the year and deeply suicidal the other half SUUUUCKS.

I tried everything else possible before giving up and giving in. But there are far worse things than lithium and that thing would be Depakote (which also doesn't treat suicidality.)

My kidneys are fine and the one good thing about taking it later in life is I will have more functional years on lithium and I have already lived the rotten ones.

Derp. Right you are. It was enough to scare me at any rate. To be fair I seem to also have a fear of doing laundry and have to psych myself up for it. You’d think I just don’t like doing laundry, but nope. Total fear/anxiety reaction.

You try abilify btw? How was it? For me it was a three day long punch in the face. Not repetitive punches, just one really long punch. It goes away though.

BSRK V1.5 on the Aegis (26650), 32 puffs in and the battery bar hasn't moved a pixel... It would have been down to 3/4 with the Aromamizer Plus on it, but then 65W vs 18W would do that... I need moar coffee.

I shared them on two forums. Here and one in the UK and between both I literally saw them go down in stock while watching them. Told you they where a bargain. Lol. They where disappearing by about 30 every ten minutes. Crazy.

As side affects go they’re really minor. Just weird. I totally got the hangnail thing. I’d have 3 or 4 on one hand.
Seems the reason is it suppressed something that thickens nails and fights fungal infections so you can be more susceptible to both. I already had thin nails so that one got me. The irritating thing is I haven’t taken lamictal in several years and even though the hangnail thing is much better it’s still a bit of a problem.

"Radioshack 2500mAh 18650 batteries, long lasting, from a name you trust." I wouldn't buy from a store that would even consider selling those, no matter what actual cell was under that wrapper.

Actually decent batteries. Accurately rated, higher mAh than rated, Rewrap them and put a better top insulator, or be careful to keep them dry. Not the best performers but they are not bad.
