And just for @Tralfaz who as we all know is quite the connoisseur of this rda. I finally found mine and yes the velvet bag is an annoying fluff magnet.

View attachment 813863

I'm still waiting for mine in the mail, not due till tomorrow :( Got mine in copper though, will look great on my Fuhattan.

I own a cat, everything is a fluff magnet! I keep threatening her that I am going to shave her bald. Her response is..”Oh ya”…then pulls out a nail file and says…”try it!”

It's a good thing they're cute right? Between my Heeler Mix, my Dane, and our Foster Lab, it's a minor miracle if clothes make it from the dryer to the basket without picking up dog hair.

    Morning shinies :)

Had one of those in my wishlist since AngeNZ showed up carrying on about it. Can't get past the plastic tank.

It's still my number 1 fave - and yeah you don't want to crack a doggy, animal welfare would turn up

Oof, big glass can make a VA Spade pocket change. But Sigma does offer some good glass at better prices. Does that have IS? Those big lenses can really benefit if you're going handheld even if it's really bright out.

There’s good and not so good with the sigma and Tamron lenses. I went with the NIKKOR for best compatibility with my camera. Downside is the price of course, and apparently it weighs a lot more - 5 lbs vs 4 lbs. doesn’t sound like a huge deal until you hang it around your neck and point it up for a few hours lol.

And yes, I do mostly hand held. Not enough room for a tripod on the paths when they’re crowded. I do use it for shots of the Eagle nests though. Didn’t bother with them this year because they were all off hunting.

Oh, and this guy came today. I’d about given up hope of ever seeing it. It’s the same size as the Topside ‘s juice bottle lol

Fuhattan is a good fit it's going to look really swish. I can never got on with copper myself. I bought a Viggo mod years ago, I think it was an SXK clone, but I don't like copper to patina so I have to forever polish the thing with Cape Cod clothes. Plus copper makes my hands smell of old pennies. I was just as bad when I bought the Kennedy, hated the copper and got the stainless steel posts version instead. But take no notice of my copper frustrations... you're really going to love the Apocalypse!

Jeezum crow, I need to be more careful: I didn't even notice that the tank is acrylic. Given my penchant for citrus, I guess that means that this one is off my list now.

Well I doubt I'll be doing business with West Coast Vape Supply again anytime soon..

They have finally purchased a shipping label for that Sad Boy Shamrock Cookie ejuice, but only because after 8 days I finally asked if they could update me on the status of my order as I'd yet to get shipping information..

A bad experience has to happen once in a while... but it's frustrating when it's an uncomplicated first order..

The OG SnapDragon... Now that would be a serious bit of engineering to convert it over to BF, what a silly design with the reverse threaded base and Rose V2 style positive plate.

The original e-Phoenix Resurrection was enough for me, but I did manage to drill a straight hole up through that solid centerpost. ;)
Tell me about it. The answer was a long bf pin (I think it was goon lp legnth). Drilled through the base and contact disc centrally and then the chamber deck. The hole in the chamber and disk had to be slightly larger and I used nyloc, (liquid hard setting nylon that's heat proof) to make a spacer in that gap between deck and pin to prevent short.
It was definitely a thinker but I grabbed a load of the clones and made a few for friends.

Loud rda's are a pain. Well they don't bother me that much, but the daggers stares from Mrs wings when using them does.
The wismec tobhino was a fantastically good rda for flavour but my Lord is it noisy.
The armour v1 was about the quietest. The convergent is a good one too.

Mrs. Prophet doesn't seem to mind the noise (I do, makes it harder to stealth vape at work), but she does get mad when I make the living room foggy.

RDAs that whistle get beat with a maul... The Wasp and SXK Hussar V1 were the worst for me.

I have a Reload X clone. Close it down even a little bit and it's a whistle good for controlling traffic. Wide open quiet as can be. Funny thing is it's my best performing and flavorful dual coil atty. The clone somehow nailed the airflow under the coils and it's great. As long as wide open is OK.

I remember moving from Nikon to Canon when I went all digital. For the stuff I did a 200 mm was more than sufficient at the long end. The wide angle stuff could hurt you even more than telephoto. And anything with good IS in the range you need will run the cost of a good used car. I used to consider it as "well, the rent could wait until next month, because the sale will be over by then and I won't get another chance for a year if ever". Never said I was a financial wizard.

Going by the various designs I think I got away lightly.

If you had gotten one of the colorful ones you could have considered pairing it with this

Never knew they did that colorful design.

Funny enough I ordered one of those supreme v2's (25mm) in black yesterday that I linked in.
Have a silver already but I imagine the black will look right on top.
Certainly is a solid feeling box. Actually felt like it had a Lipo in it.
We shall see how it fares under scrutiny. Not tested rincoe before. Must find out who is making them.

Oooh.. I like that airflow design too. That looks nice. I just really don't like RTAs.....

Got my own little bit of shiny in today to hold me over for the big shiny tomorrow:

I have a300 mm came with the camera kit, which is what I used yesterday, and last year, at the marsh. I bought the 500 from Amazon for $1250. I’ll see it on sale for half that, I’m sure, any minute because that’s my luck.

That was the best price online I found, aside from used stuff. I didn’t want to risk it to save a hundred bucks though

So no used cars for me this year. Fortunately my truck ought to last a few more years, lol.

My dil is into Canon, and I had one. Hated it and gave it to my daughter. None of the controls made sense to me. I just get Nikon. The Canon took good pictures when I could cajole it into doing what it was supposed to do, but this one’s not half as frustrating.

Was always curious about the Mulciber it looked like a nice flavorful single coil RDA. Seems to be long gone these days.
I loved it aesthetically but I bloody struggled to get a decent vape from it for me. It was almost good but not quite.
I did try, oh Lord how I tried but small coils and one slit shut down was unimpressive, larger steel spaced wide open was meh and nichrome full dual air slits was like putting your lips on a steam pipe.
Did look good though. If it ever comes back to me from the gent who borrowed it, I will gladly pass it on to you.
