Oh you have no idea. My sister had to calm me down. It was a Goodwill though (I needed a disposable pot to melt tar in) so one should expect such things. Also I’m horribly forgetful so it still may be around somewhere.
Ah mate. So sorry.
Had something similar last year. The brother in law popped around with his new wife's kids and friends (early 20's).
All had an interest in vaping and chatted and sampled some stuff.
I even sent them away loaded with juice.
A few days later I checked the vape cupboard and a rather expensive rda had gone awol.
2 + 2 made me pretty sure where it went but the mix of no positive proof and family meant I had to drop it.
I was and still am furious. £100+ gone.
I sympathize.

Squid DB v3 would be my choice personally. Small dual battery, duable, and decent support from squid. With the squape you'd get 2-3 days run time. Jac would be good if looking for lightweight pocket friendly.
Now I just need to convince my wife I need these things :D

I'm stuck in a vape hole. I've been vaping this strawberry jam cookie by the gallon and I can't put it down. Send help.
All I can send is a Saint Bernard with a whiskey barrel collar. I hope that works.

I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow. Going to be visiting my mom for mother's day and seeing her for the first time in almost 2 years.

The thing i'm having problems with is figuring out what mods to bring.

Definitely bringing my Orion for vaping in doors, as they all smoke but can't handle my DTL vaping.

Otherwise i'm either going to go 2 battery mods and bring my Hexohm with M25 and Topside Dual with Kali V2; or going 1 battery and bringing my EVM and Plug with a Venna and KRMA. Also should I bring 2 sets or 4 sets of batteries? Will only be able to charge in the hotel and i'll need enough power for my entire day. Also worried i'm going to burn through my batteries on the drive there and be stuck with none left until I can charge them at the hotel.

I don't know why but i'm having a hard time deciding what to bring and it's stressing me out in the same way it stressed me out when I was down to my last pack of smokes and only got paid the next day.

As for the hotel, we're actually going somewhere decentish. Going to celebrate our engagement at the same time. It's looking super hipster.

A cheap shower cap placed over the hotel room smoke detector allows for some undisturbed vaping. ;)

Reminds me of my late Pomeranian Millie. I’d have a cocktail by the pool and she’d drink the whole thing if I wasn’t paying attention. Then she’d have a swim and crash in the sun.

We called her Millie The Belly, because she was a whopping 18 lbs when we adopted her. Our vet told her, “Millie, you need to know that a 10lb bag of dog food is NOT a serving size.”

I'm in the U.S.

Do you want a single tube mech, dual parallel or some other mech configuration? And do you
have a budget in mind? You can still find well made mechs out there.

As long as you're looking, have you ever given any thoughts to squonking? :D

(this can be a very, very bad thread)

Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote is inbound!

It would be really nice if Amazon and Google allowed for cross service usage, all I want to do is stream Prime Video and it's just not happening on the Chromecast... :glare:
Let me know how the that fire stick works, am considering one (good grief, yet another streaming device). I can cast a tab from chrome to the chromecast for prime viewing, but it's nowhere near the same as having the chromecast take over the stream (as it does for netflix, or youtube, or plex) -- at my place it stutters and freezes too often to be useful, but at a friends place it works pretty well from my chromebook (but not from her laptop).

Will do. That was the problem I had casting from my desktop, audio/video sync problems... Hoping that the Fire stick will resolve all of that. I only grabbed the 1080P version as it's all I need but the 4K has a faster CPU.

We shall see in a couple of days. ;)

Congratulations! & rebuildables only seem hard but it’s not as you can buy prebuilt coils. Just watch a few YouTube vids & read a bit about ohms law.

Yeah ive watched several videos on it. It looks mostly like a matter of practice, but also looks like theres a fair bit of investment involved when it comes to materials/equipment. Drill amd swivels i have (being a mechanic and a fisherman) but the other specialty tools and ohm measuring device i dont have. I understand ohms law and electricity since i do some electrical work, just not how it applies to coil making per se. Seems like most want a .05 rating or so since it raises as coils heat up. I also know that generally thicker wire means more resistance. If i decide to do it i want to know its safe to use so i still need to read into it quite a bit.

Making coils is the easy part. You literally wrap wire around a thingy. Wicking takes a little finesse, but still not terribly hard. And you can use that Legend with a RBA.

Ive looked into RDAs and RTAs and i think Id rather have an RTA. I like having some tank reserve rather than having to keep rejuicing the coil on an RDA. Especially given that i vape during breaks at work, just dont have time to worry about juicing it.

Finally got my shipping notices from AR today. They got swamped by all those 50% off orders last weekend. It's going to be a shiny Friday around here.

Also did a tear down and clean on my Driptech-DS yesterday.

You only need the drill and swivels if your wanting to get into making multi wire exotic wire. Many are happy with single wire builds and others buy spools of the premade multi wire or prebuilt coils. For example I prefer triple core fused clapton wire, I buy it buy the spool and prebuilt both. Most single coil rtas are an easy install but wicking does vary from atty to atty. I get 4-8 weeks from each coil and rewick once a week or so depending on juice. When I was using commercial juices I would have to wick every 3-4 days. With the more exotic coils like 4 core aliens or Fralien coils you can get up to 4-6 months with a little weekly tlc.

Just when I talked myself out of buying stuff this week, I find a few DIY recipes I want to try. So now I'm off to find the best deal on 20 different bottles of flavoring....
I do a lot of subbing myself.

Yeah i figured i would start easy then work my way up. The appeal to me in the more exotic multi-wire builds inthe longevity. One builder on youtube said he got 3-6 months out of his fused. Helixed clapton wire build with regular cleaning. I dont mind trying that, im good withmy hands and all, but i have to know how to verify its safe to use first.

You can use a regulated mod as your ohm reader.
