Meant to reply to your earlier message, but it's way back
<=============== there :p

Congrats on the rta purchase, and the Luna purchase - you are officially a grown-up vaper now
The Pumper's looks tempted me sorely, but I mistrust its extra complexity. Plus the Luna was CHEAP (at this point, anything under $35 feels free to me).

Yeah I'm lusting after a Pumper 18. Also lusting after the Spruzza, which is a regulated squonk kit with the same chip as the Colossal

The only thing that's putting me off a non-regulated squonk is that I use a 0.5 ohm coil at 15watts. With a full battery on an unprotected mod, that will hit at 35 watts, and I'm scared of 35 watts ;)

I'm going to be doing some serious studying before I attempt to use it. I'm thinking I should buy some kanthal. That would let me get to 1.2 ohms with six wraps, which would yield an acceptable 14.7W at 4.2V.

That’s why I was reluctant, too. And the vape was a tad warm to me at first. But just a tad. I got used to it quickly though. I really thought I’d use the Topside in power mode, but it’s in bypass and vapes great. I think it’s just one of those things that looks like a bigger deal than it is, and you have to try it to see if it works for you.

And yes I’m posting at 4 am because I have been up since 2:30 because I had a dream a lion was hunting me. Jeez.

That's my goto build for mtl on everything. Works well on mech squonkers. The kanthal doesn't heat stupidly fast and it's interesting to try your favourite juices going through the discharge from 4.2v down to 3.5 ish.
You don't get distracted by numbers and after a while find your favourite part of the day when the juice tastes at it's best.

@NolaMel - were you saying you have the Z-Biip?

So I began vaping it yesterday when I got that SadBoy Shamrock Cookie ejuice.. (I did finally get it yea! )

However, like this morning the coil is flooded, and I got mouthfuls of ejuice..

Was I sucking too hard on this thing?

Is there something to fix overnight flooding?

Have I done something wrong? Or does everyone have a flooded coil in the morning?

I haven't used a mtl tank with a factory coil in a long time actually, so I'm wondering if it's user error..

    Maybe I've just forgotten..

@Opinionated, I don't know about that pod but everyone (all of 3) that I have used have flooding issues.

On another note, how do you tell about airflow with rda's? Other than the Berserker which I assume is mtl and less airflow? I am getting back into rda's or squonkers (thanks @Zazie ) but I cannot stand those really open airflow attys.

To know which ones have a more restricted airflow look for people calling it a MTL RDA.. anything MTL will have a tighter draw..

Or, if you don't know then just ask..

Small chamber are more restricted usually. Low profile, 510 dt, small single coil rdas give me a good rl hit. I really like the dpro mini for this type of rda.

The large deep lake right in front of my place (a landscaped water catch lake) went from bone dry to full in short order. Along with the near 100 degree temp's in April it's looking like the early start on monsoon season may mean a heavy one this year and a long scalding hot summer is in store for us. Hopefully the lightning storms will not start the firestorms in the Spring Mountains and surrounding foothills like they have many times in the past.

How do you like the shamrock?
    Dont leave us hanging boots......

I got less mint than @Tralfaz described, but likely due to me using single coil. Either way I still like it.

I look for the drip tip size, the smaller the tighter, and the air holes size and placement, and if the af is adjustable ( they normally are, but not all).

Thanks for the help. I usually judge by the dt and mtl name but so few say mtl and most are 810. I guess I am just to behind the times tootle puffing for these days. Maybe I will just tape off some of the airflow. Jeez
