How do you like the shamrock?

I got less mint than @Tralfaz described, but likely due to me using single coil. Either way I still like it.

I actually like it a lot.. I hate to describe flavor until I put it in an rta, which I haven't done yet, but I really really like it.. really like it.

I'm getting a good amount of mint with coolness, (like eating mint ice cream) and that is with this miniature .5 ohm 3d coil at 16 watts.. I'm not getting chocolate or cookie notes right now, but I'm positive that has a lot to do with this miniature factory coil I'm using..

But flavor profiles can change depending on what your vaping with, so I assume some aspects of this flavor will change or improve with an RTA or rda..

But the flavor in just a factory coil? It's awesome..but I really do like mint ice cream..

I don't do Koolada or menthol vapes in general, so maybe that's why the mint hit me so hard. I didn't smoke menthol when I was busy killing myself, either. I set it aside for a day and revisited it. Still a lot of mint but I tried it on my Therion and at 110-120W I'm getting more of the chocolate cookie. It's deffinitly good for just after you brush your teeth.

Thanks for the help. I usually judge by the dt and mtl name but so few say mtl and most are 810. I guess I am just to behind the times tootle puffing for these days. Maybe I will just tape off some of the airflow. Jeez

When I first started vaping I don’t recall any mtl RBAs. That’s why in part I didn’t get into them then. There are more now but you’re right, the majority still seem to be dl. Keep watching though, new stuff comes out every day.

Yeah I'm lusting after a Pumper 18. Also lusting after the Spruzza, which is a regulated squonk kit with the same chip as the Colossal

The only thing that's putting me off a non-regulated squonk is that I use a 0.5 ohm coil at 15watts. With a full battery on an unprotected mod, that will hit at 35 watts, and I'm scared of 35 watts

I have the spruzza....and loved it for about a week....then nope...i kept noticing some juice inside and thought i just over filled the box or something.....but then it got worse and worse....no it was leaking in the tube that goes to the box to the 510, only about 1/3 or the juice was going into the 510...i contacted eightvape and basically was told i was SOL (I will never buy from them again unless it's some rock bottom price that I don't mind losing money on) and to contact asmodeus....I still have never heard back from asmodeus....so I'm stuck with a high end mod that I can't even use....

That's my goto build for mtl on everything. Works well on mech squonkers. The kanthal doesn't heat stupidly fast and it's interesting to try your favourite juices going through the discharge from 4.2v down to 3.5 ish.
You don't get distracted by numbers and after a while find your favourite part of the day when the juice tastes at it's best.

Yeah, that's going to be interesting. I'm so glad I worked up the guts to do this!

So I began vaping it yesterday when I got that SadBoy Shamrock Cookie ejuice.. (I did finally get it yea! )

However, like this morning the coil is flooded, and I got mouthfuls of ejuice..

Was I sucking too hard on this thing?

Is there something to fix overnight flooding?

Have I done something wrong? Or does everyone have a flooded coil in the morning?

I haven't used a mtl tank with a factory coil in a long time actually, so I'm wondering if it's user error..

Maybe I've just forgotten..

I've never had flooding problems with the Zenith, which uses the same coils at the Biip. Maybe the coil you're using is a dud?

Those little stands are great. I use them with all my tanks not on mods or in the production line of cleaning and getting ready for next round builds. Those just rattle around in a small tray.

Day 2 with the Axial. Put the beauty ring on and it looks like part of the atty. Yeah, it really is good. Tried it wide open with the airflow open to the full slot. Noisier than the holes, but no whistle and no more than any other dual coil atty I've had the pleasure of vaping with. As expected lots of cloud but the flavor was still decent given all that airflow.

I think it's a deal even at full price. $40 gets you something with build and machining well above its price class. At $20 it was a steal. I wish I got one more. I might even at full price when I can get the Delrin top caps back in stock and maybe some extras for it too. They did a great job on this atty. If it's being made in the US at these prices, my hat is off for being able to make something so nice at a decent price with US labor. If it's made overseas my congrats on a good job of machining.

End of gush fest. Just haven't gotten anything else so impressive in a while. The last was the gifted 67 Neo squonk mech that came with the Venna and KRMA clones. Totally got me into squonking and still in use literally like every day.

Interesting experience with that and the Venna. I had picked up some Kilo Blue on sale. Tried it in one of my RTAs, I think am Intake and thought meh at best. Yesterday for yuks as I had to wash out the bottle and change the juice, I figured I'd give it a shot. Granted it sat for about 2 months steeping, but with commercial juice I don't think it matters. God know how long it already sat on a shelf. OK yes I had opened it and exposed it to air along with vigorous shaking, but I don't think it's a factor. Anyway running that through the Venna with my same simple round 26G SS coil and it really came alive. I'm amazed I really like it now. OTOH some MFS house brand strawberries and cream I got because it was like half off and I was ordering other stuff anyway is absolutely awful. Even in that setup. Tastes like chemically contaminated cough syrup. So it all balances out. The Kilo made up for the other and I don't feel as bad tossing that strawberry crap right in the garbage.

That's one of the downsides of the sheer distance apart we all are.
Over here on the forums we're never too far from each other to meet up for a quick helping hand.
Go steady, take your time and it's far easier than you think.

Eightvape’s customer service s u c k s! The one problem I had, took two months for them to somewhat rectify, and even then I only got a portion of my $ back. Gave them one more chance. My last ever order, one of the tanks was “open box”. It clearly had not been used, but still.... They’re off my list of places to use.

It's a winner, for sure. I built my polished stainless Axial today.

Not a perfect match for my white brass Brizo but good enough. The flavor is outstanding.

That polished SS looks really nice. A fingerprint magnet, but it's not like you're handling it lol the time. Next one for me will probably be the SS.
