Letting them go is always hard.

I had cats all my life. My last cat took off a couple of years ago. He was old and did a lot of wandering. Hung out in the woods over the road. They say cats like to find a quiet spot when their time comes. I searched the woods but never found him.

I've reached the age where I don't want to take on something that could live for 20 years. Don't want to leave an animal behind when I go. We have 2 middle aged dogs and I expect to be around long enough to see them through.

You start to do those calculations. Do I have enough nic and mods to see me through. Will my lawnmower last until I'm too decrepit to use it.

Thats exactly one of the reasons I only adopt middle aged to senior dogs. Plus most don’t get adopted but senior dogs are the best.

Do you guy's have issue's with sourcemore then.
They've been real reliable in the UK.
Had a bit of a bump in the road with 3f last year when they ignored all the double barrel mods they sent out that wouldn't accept a battery but the power of the people overcame that.
Gearbest have generally been avoided for a while due to the poor choice of couriers they where using in the UK but sourcemore have been fairly reliable.
a slight issue with them...I got my dovpo topside from them and the fire button gets stuck often, i emailed them did the whole 20 questions send a pic of vin, video of the problem showing clearly that i wasn't pressing the button but it was still firing....but still they keep coming back with we can't see the image clearly, ect ect...i gave up.....this has been going on for almost a year with the back and forth, they have no intent on replacing the item....it works well enough i just know to watch out for it and pop the battery out until i can get the button unstuck....

Definitely. Our Dane is an adopted senior, and we do foster care for a senior/injured dog rescue. Our first foster was a 14 year old yellow lab, and our current one is a 7 year old yellow lab that was hit by a car and paralyzed in the back end, but she's starting to heal far beyond what the vets expected of her.

Well, I ordered my Royal Hunters from Ecig City on Sunday and I got the shipping email this afternoon. That's about as quick as it gets. Their site said the prep time for orders was 3 to 5 days and they did it in 2 days.

That's good to hear. Just placed my order today.

You’re making me drool!!! Yes, I would be one of those irritating people ogling it pitifully from the sidewalk as you passed. You need a mod custom painted to match her, or a red and burgundy stabwood!!! C1s should be everyone’s thing in my mind, such beauties .... but I do love the 67, 63’s split rear window is cool, but early 70’s is (to me) when the vette went from sports-car to supermodel. But, if you said I could pick any one from the museum in Bowling Green, I’d probably go for late 50’s, early 60’s. Sorry, drool session over, now y’all know my secret weak spot. Yes, definitely buy her a matching mod, with custom dt... she deserves it!

Ogling from the sidewalk would not be an issue... it's being followed and honked at when stopped for a red light with a request to pull over so they can look it over (there is A LOT of stop lights in this city); or stopping at a 'quick stop' for something and being stuck there forever with a never ending string of folks coming up to see it/hear its story; but especially some of the 1000's of beautiful young groupies 1/3 - 1/2 my age here who wanted a ride, a date or a 'relationship'. According to my drivers license I'm a septuagenerian, not a baby sitter.

When I lived in Carmel, CA I parked a C1 '58 and '59 when I got my hands on a mint ultra low mileage British Racing Green '67 BJ8 Austin Healey Roadster (last year for them) in early '71 and made it my daily driver. This one was a special one, I really loved it for rallies and cruising PCH (Pacific Coast Highway 1) from Crml up to N. CA or down to Santa Barbara. So what was I thinking when I sold it to a car collector friend later who had been after it for years?

I had a mini schnauzer that ate a package of foiled covered Christmas colored chocolate eggs. Fortunately she didn’t get sick but the backyard sparkled for quite a long time  !!

LOL…Christmas is that time of year where our furry little (or big) friends give us sparkly treats – whether that is their intention or not!

Gracie looks as snug as a bug in a rug! Zelda also loves getting under the covers. She also loves pulling towels off the rack and burying herself in them. I’ve given up on buying nice towels, go for the cheap Ikea stuff now.

She has just recently discovered my top sock drawer. It’s so funny cause she seems to enter this state of excitement where she freezes, opens her eyes as wide as they can and spurrs so hard it can be felt through the floor. Spurring is purring and squeaking!

That’s wonderful to hear. I’ve been adopting special need dogs and senior dogs also puppy mill survivors for over 20 years. It is SOO rewarding.

Unfortunately I have some health issues so I’m not sure I’ll be able to care for more than my 2 middle aged puppy mill rescues and a 3 year old cat.

Morning shinies
Thank you for all the thoughts, it's appreciated so much today - as we had to let Abby go  Her temp spiked last night, she was showing no neurological improvement, was agitated and in a lot of pain. So it wasn't fair to let her carry on suffering.

Gonna miss her like crazy - and today I need all the distraction I can get. So bring on the shinies and the laughs :thumb:

My vaporesso luxe nano mod is out for delivery - which is just as well, as I really really need something new and shiny to play with ;)

So sorry Angel, glad she is free of pain. I'm also glad she brought so much joy into your home.

Did she puke it up yet? Fortunately my Gracie has never had a fur ball. And she barely sheds which is amazing considering she has longish hair.
And she really enjoys when I get out of bed so she can move in lol!!

Nah. It'll come out one way or the other soon enough. My bet is that it'll travel the whole distance. I figure if she can chomp down multiple birds, a little bit of lint won't faze her digestive tract.

Should I get a Coily?

Yes. I wasn’t too keen on them but now that I have one it’s so useful. And the Coily website has a database of RBAs and the leg lengths with inner diameters. It’s sooo much easier than guessing where to snip especially if you cut them too short !!
It’s definitely worth the few bucks it costs.

Misinformed Delivery lol!!!

Question about the Oni - do you draw from the entire plastic wedge thing. It looks uncomfortable. I would think these pod makers would make them more shaped like cigs - you know- Round!
This is the Oni 80w mod kit, not the pod. But jic....I didn’t use the tank (ohmlette), just the mod. The tank is definitely pure dl, even with the af almost closed it’s pretty airy. Barely a rdl. The dt, which is actually part of the lid, is pretty much a straight forward 810. Slopes on the inside, straight up and down outside, with a “lifter” section to get it away from the tank. I usually don’t like an 810, but this one is pretty comfortable. It’s relatively thin where it meets your lips. I put some of the lmp recipe we were all tweaking over in random diy since I know what it should taste like... really good flavor for a drop in coil. I’m picking up all the flavor notes, nice mix of the lemon, crust, custard and meringue. I’m testing it at 20w in wattage mode only, below the recommended 26-40 for the 0.8 coil. It’s a cooler vape, which I prefer for dl, but the coil doesn’t seem to suffer in performance (no gurgling or flooding). At 27w, it’s slightly warmer, flavor is a little richer. At 32w, flavor is slightly less pronounced, and the dt gets a bit warm. At 36w, same as 32, but the dt doesn’t seem to get any warmer. I think considering you can’t change the dt, anything above low 30’s it’ll be too warm for anything other than an occasional hit unless you open up the af. At 36w, af open halfway, decent clouds, flavor is good. Tank definitely likes a little more af. I didn’t test it fully open, cause, well, I have to breath not choke .

TLDR shortcut:
It’s not going to be a huge cloud maker, but a good compromise for someone who wants a small dl tank without sacrificing some depth of flavor. I’ll keep the tank, but probably run it closer to 25w at between 1/4-1/2 open. Would I buy another? No, since I don’t typically dl. But, it’s worth trying if you buy the kit and aren’t strictly mtl. It has a nice low profile, making the kit even more stealthy. Battery life (granted I run at 13.5w on a different rta plus 30 minutes of testing the ohmlette at higher watts)... I started full battery yesterday morning at 11:30 (it’s almost 3:30 now) and just now hit @50%. So, small 2800 battery with great battery management imo. Note: I did switch to my nighttime vape about 9pm yesterday.

I like the thin straight 810 that comes with the DRSQ. it is close in size to a wide 510

What WERE you thinking lol? That was a peach AH! Our mechanic friend is rehabbing to sell an early 70’s vette (not sure of the year), that I moon over every time we drop by. Himself pointed out (rather cruelly in my estimation), “At our age? With your back? You’d never be able to get out of it.” I suggested we buy it anyway, and he could just bury me in it . I guess we never outgrow the hotrods of our youth <sigh>

I’m on my heating pad trying to loosen up my back, so I’m not going to go dig, but I THINK similar “walls”. What usually bothers me with 810s is the thickness, not necessarily the width. If I have a choice, 510 all the way, round.

I guess it is a bit wider than a press fit 510 (my favorite) but for an 810 it is pretty comfortable. I like thin walled DT's too my fave of mine is the druga 810. Never liked the RDA but love the DT. second is this one. Most 810s are too wide for my taste but a few are great. What I don't like is 510s that are the same outside width as an 810...
Here's the SQ.
